Love what @delk is building. One of the criticisms with homeschooling has been the lack of social interaction among other kids. While online interactions probably aren't a replacement to recess, sports, and other IRL activities, this collaborative "workspace" feels like a wise move.

Thanks, Ryan!

This is amazing. I can't wait for my 3-year-old daughter to be old enough to use Primer.

Our education system is underestimating kids! Super excited about @delk and the Primer team are building 💫

This is the type of platform that many of us wish we could be kids again to use. Gifted, talented, ambitious, curious kids are not given nearly enough resources (and far more kids match the prior attributes than traditional education acknowledges). I’m so thrilled about what Primer is building.

This is amazing — Primer's been shipping products that put kids first for over a year now. This isn't any different — great job @delk and team!

@tuhinone Thanks, Tuhin!

So impressed with the Primer team! Rooms feel like a way to address one of the bigger challenges in homeschooling- how to teach kids to collaborate and socialize well if they aren't side by side in the classroom. Take kids seriously" is an incredibly powerful guiding principle. So excited about what @delk and the team are building.

?makers Congratulations on the launch! I like that this allows the children to exercise their agency and learn with their peers in a collaborative environment. I also see this as a part of the larger transformation going on in the education system. Gone are the days when education was about absorbing more and more information. Today, there is an abundance of information. Children need to be taught to use this information to accomplish their goals. Kudos to the Primer team for recognizing it and enabling future leaders to reach their potential :)

Thanks, Aditya! Spot on :)

This is brilliant. What about safety? And what about children at the bottom of the pyramid? As well as what about teachers? @delk we will love to partner with you.

Good Q’s! Safety — for anyone building technology for kids, this is a top priority. In addition to what’s required by law in the US (e.g. COPPA), we’ve built safety tools into both Rooms and Clubs. Some of these aren’t visible (silently detecting and preventing inappropriate text and videos from being shaded) and some of these are visible (features to report content that makes you feel unsafe). Bottom of the pyramid — can you share more on what you mean by this? Want to make sure I’m interpreting correctly before I answer. Teachers — several folks on our team are former teachers, and I anticipate we’ll be hiring many more forward-thinking teachers over the years.
