Hey Shane,
This looks really awesome!
Just wanted to know if there are plans to include more currencies. Sending payment links to local customers (South Africa) with an amount stated in USD would not go over well.
@movaid7 Hey Muhammad, thanks for reaching out. Sure thing, I'll add ZAR now. Let me know if there's any other functionality you'd like / think is missing 🙌
@shanedjrogers Hey Shane. I'm sorry for this very delayed response - the time just got away from me.
Honestly really impressed by how timeously you were able to do that! Definitely will be planning out my next project with PriceBlocs firmly in mind.
@shanedjrogers Hi Shane. This product is actually great. How do you think, is it possible to use your app for P2P payments without business bank account? From card to card, or from card to personal PayPal account, for example.
@dawgawesome hey thanks for the kind words! Theres a way to route payments between connected bank accounts using payouts and Stripe connect but the Stripe transaction fees are unavoidable so there would be about ~2.9% +30c fee per money movement. There are requirements to get onboarding to Stripe as an individual and not a company mentioned here: https://stripe.com/docs/connect/....
Routing to PayPal is not supported. Stripe has more info on payouts and restrictions here: https://stripe.com/docs/payouts. You could connect your individual bank account Stripe and then connect to PriceBlocs to charge others but again there will be unavoidable transaction fees
@shanedjrogers Transaction fees are ok, because freelancers always pay some sort of fees to any platform. If you can make yourself a Stripe account and use PriceBlocs to manage your payouts - that would be a massive relief, because you will avoid this "Do you have this? Do you have that?" part of payout discussion when you trying to find services which you and your customer both use. Let me know if you will need someone to test your product in any way, I hope it will grow into something big.
