Hi everyone! I'm Jamie, and I'm thrilled to share Popcorn Style with you. I've used a version of it with my teams at Notion and Stripe and it was super well received. My teams were more engaged, used time more efficiently and felt more connected to one another. We even used it once for a 25 person meeting! I originally created Popcorn Style because every standup I attended felt so painful. They always ran long or covered topics that didn’t seem interesting to everyone. It felt especially bad with remote teams. It's just too easy to tab away from the meeting or stop paying attention. With a timer app like this, people have to smile and pay attention... even if it’s out of fear. 😂 It’s been a lot of fun to turn it into something everyone can use, so I’m eager to hear your feedback. Just tried this for a rapid fire standup, and really loved it! What I enjoy is that you can run your standup with different speeds - the "Nightmare" speed gives each person just 8 seconds to speak during the standup, making it as efficient as possible. The playful design brings back the fun in stand ups.

I love this idea, but I'm unclear on what _viewing_ the speedily-added updates is like. How does that potentially-juicy content become useful?
