Between college, work, and maintaining a work-life balance, there isn't a lot of time for me to explore the latest technologies. This is why my resolution for 2020 is to commit to learning about a new technology every month and sharing my notes, creations, or experiments. For every product or service I create in 2020, 20% of the profits will go to a charity. For January, I decided to explore SwiftUI, a brand new declarative framework that can help developers make powerful and beautiful apps with very little code. I finally ventured into this new framework and explored what it has to offer. The final product is a simple, yet elegant Pomodoro timer that I use to help me manage my time. Within a week, I was able to localize it to lots of languages and support iPhones, iPads, and even Macs. I'd love to improve this app further so I decided to make it open source.
