Thanks for all your feedback! We're constantly upgrading Playmaker's toolkit, and there's still lots of room to boost both performance and integration success.
Quick rundown:
- Playmaker comes with a suite of nifty tools to fine-tune document extraction accuracy. We're hands-on with all our users, helping them squeeze the best results out of the extraction process.
- During extraction, documents never leave our isolated, single-purpose servers with no backups. We utilize encryption, multi-factor authentication, and secure deletion practices like disk overwriting. While processed, data resides only in our encrypted environment with strict access controls before permanent removal from all systems.
@giomate Congrats Alex. Your product will be really helpful for the HR and Finance teams. I have seen them struggling with lot of documents
@beefriedman We're currently using GPT series vision models in combination with traditional OCR extraction methods. So we can also work with image files such as PNG, JPG or embedded images in PDFs.
@beefriedman for cases like those we have to add more context and prompting but this is just one time for a single type of document. So most of the time we can sort this out.
Hey Alex, congratulations on launching Document AI! This looks like a game changer for reducing manual work. How long did it take to develop this tool?
@alex_dulub thank you. Our initial version took a little over a month but weβve been working on developing that version with our customers feedback for the past few months now.
This is cool! Im about to look into receipt bookkeeping and i think Playmaker could pull it off!
Any plans for mobile app?

You've mentioned about 300+ integrations and it's noted on your site as well, would you, please, expand on that what do you use for integration is it just built-in APIs? And what are some well-know applications that you can integrate with, Salesforce/Workday/etc.?

On integrations, depending on the use cases, we build our own custom APIs. We integrate with most of the popular CRMs, ERPs, HR platforms, & more mentioned on our website!

@gergo_miklos i know Peter Levels uses custom models. Now to bring thise from cloud to your machine is a matter of resources: RAM and GPU.

I love the product and the demo! I work with a few traditional businesses as well, and digitization and extraction of images is a key issue we tackle, so I am happy to see something that can help automate parts of the process.
A couple of questions -
1. What's the accuracy like? Especially with images or scanned physical documents, which might need OCR to detect content.
2. Does it alert me if it's unsure about some data extraction and needs manual review?
3. How's the pricing?

1. We're currently using GPT series vision models in combination with traditional OCR extraction methods. Most of the time we don't need to do anything extra, but some of the documents need additional context and prompting to make them work. For example we might need to add that some pages should be ignored or something like 7th page has a 7x7 table with a header.
2. Yes, we can send an email or Slack message for an approval.
3. We have a free trial specially for this PH launch, then based on your usage plans we can discuss pricing on a call.

YES! Big time launch for a company moving quickly! I'm excited about how this is using the Playmaker platform and AI to do something that none of us like to do (data extraction between disjointed documents and systems π« π΅βπ«).

this product has been great help to make sense of all the information that are in my 100+ documents
Just the other day, I was trying to figure why aren't there more apps that can just scan my receipt and simply add them into my spending tracking app. Now with this, I may have to build my own app! (with AI of course). Such a great way to solve the upstream problem when it comes to integrating data.

I can only imagine the efficiency this product will bring! Are these documents also shareable between team members for collaborative work? Being able to send it for approval or confirmation could also be an interesting feature. Congratulations on your launch!

@luke_harries Any ops-heavy business would find a lot of value. Think anyone dealing with invoices, contracts, bills/receipts, etc.
+ Documents are just part of the puzzle we're trying to solve at Playmaker.
I'm curious: do you have a specific use case in mind?
Love the idea! I hope you have the API that you will share with your customers so they can use your tool for their JIRA, CMS, CRMs, you name it tool :)
