Hey Makers! ๐Ÿ‘‹ We are Roman and Stacy, founders of Pizdata, and this is our first time on Product Hunt. First, we created a profitable online coding school (for CIS region) that got tons of compliments regarding its design. We worked with a cool guy, paying him ยผ of the salary to cover the schoolโ€™s tasks once in a while. โ€ This year we paused the online school having the intention to start a global company. Thatโ€™s how Roman got a shot: โ€โ€œthere should be more companies like ours that are looking for a design, but don't want to deal with random freelancers or they haven't enough tasks to hire full-timeโ€. And then it started... Once algorithms matched us (I mean Tinder ๐Ÿ˜ฌ) โ€” and now we created a platform to match people for the job. In 10 days from the idea, we got our first client โ€” a guy who just got accepted into Y Combinator and needed a new website and logo in 2 weeks as he would be posted on Techcrunch. And we did it! For 5 months we tested our hypotheses in a closed beta with world-class talents and startups. Now among the clients, we have a few YC alumni, Microsoft AI partner, series A startups and product companies with 1000 people. Only yesterday we released our new website. Congrats on the launch, guys! In my startup, our marketer has been always doing design because we didn't have a designer in a team. But she's not that professional in design and at the same time we couldn't afford to hire a seperate dedicated designer. So your product seems like a great solution (especially with the current PH price ๐Ÿ˜ƒ). Btw, what does '5/100 get hired' on your website mean? Can you explain what it is and why it is important?

@ihor_levenets1 thanks for the comment! We created Pizdata for startups like yours because we have been the same. What โ€™5/100 get hired' means? We have right now 5 full-time designers. To get them we checked, tested and interviewed 100 candidates. Only 5% of them got into our team. Why itโ€™s important? We focus on quality services, where both designers and the client get their success.

@lisadziuba hey Lisa! Thanks for the question. So you subscribe and get access to our platform (simple task manager). Add your task by filling in the brief and that's it! In 24 hours you either get a result if it's a banner, or an update if the task is more complex like landing page. Then you can provide as many revisions as you need for the result to be perfect. As simple as it sounds ;)

@rodrigo_leles1 For now we work with our internal team with complimentary skills. Only 5 out of 100 candidates got hired. We deliver fast, still, we are in charge of the quality as well ๐Ÿ‘ For further scaling, we might consider a more open model to add designers to the network

As the owner of a design subscription service myself, I'm baffled by how you can keep your prices so low and not run yourself into the ditch, even with lower cost outsourced designers. It just doesn't even begin to seem plausible at $99/m.But hey, if you've figured out a way to make it work, good for you AND the market. ๐Ÿ’ช

Our unit economy works and we tested it for almost half a year on different segments and kinds of service, still, it's not $99/month. It's only PH special offer, $99/week as a trial (for graphic design, for UI it's more). This is the first time we do trials to encourage community test the app ๐Ÿค—
