We've been customers of Pipefy since the beta and everyone here loves it.
Not only it is extremely easy for new users to pick up, the speed they iterate to make the product more intuitive and add new features is on par with many of their bigger (and more expensive) competitors.
@stephenalan Was my comment too harsh? :)
They look very similar but I could not bother myself to signup to figure out how it actually works and how much it costs. It is interesting too see that they are promoting the process templates so much. Podio also has an app market, which is exactly the same concept as Pipefy's process templates. Though, I have to say Pipefy is making those templates their number one message unlike Podio. It will be interesting to see what kind of traction Pipefy gets.
@llumiaho Hi! While Podio is focused on project management and has project management specific features, Pipefy focuses on a broader approach for managing processes.
Projects and processes are very, very different and sometimes people make the mistake of managing processes as if they were projects and that's where they go wrong :(
Projects are finite, they have a clear beginning and end, while processes are cyclical, they consist in repeating the same pattern over and over again - this is where Pipefy thrives!
Sure, you can use one of our process templates to manage tasks related to a project but we also allow you to create multi-step processes, with specific instructions and fields for each phase, making it a lot simpler (and easier) to manage your processes.
Why don't you sign up for our 30-day trial and try for yourself? You might just be surprised :D
@isabelle_wuilleumier_salemme thanks for the clarification. I would disagree about Podio being only for projects. I've used it more for continuous processes than projects.
I am not looking to switch productivity tools at the moment so I'll pass on the trial but this thread will keep Pipefy in my memory for sure. Will check it out if a need appears.
@llumiaho I'm not that experienced in Podio, only ever tried it and most of its communication os towards project management, maybe I misunderstood it :D
@skunkwerk Would you like one of our product specialists to get in touch with you and help you understand how Pipefy can help manage your processes? Sign up for our 30-day free trial and they'll reach out right away!
I don't know where you guys are based, but the English is pretty awkward. The sign up process seemed really neat at first, but I almost gave up when I realized that I was forced to put in a fake phone number. Otherwise it seems interesting.
I used Pipefy in the past and tried the Beta version when they were releasing it.
Unfortunately, as I used it for personal projects, I couldn't keep using after they killed the free plan.
But it's a great tool. Really liked their templates.
:)
I've been testing Pipefy since a few days.
Really appreciate it, the pipes really are a great way of managing workflows.
They've called me an hour after my registration on the app to help discover the tool. Good job.
I'll try to implement client assistance and the hiring process to see how flexible pipes are, but seems great.
The phases, the cards, the forms, the databases, everyhting seems to be customizable and adaptive.
I'd love to see a native integration to Slack even if Zapier make a good job connecting them.
7$/user/month, not cheap, but kinda in the market prices.
Keep going guys, great product u got here :-)
PS : when is the mobile app coming ? U may want to check how is the Pipedrive app made to work on ur app UX ;-)
Amazing product. I relied on heavily on my last startup. I can't recommend enough. They are very costumer oriented. They really listen you as a customer and if makes sense they try to deploy ASAP. I asked for a few improvements a couple of times and even when I was not attended they explained me why. TL;DR a great product with a great team behind it. \o/
I was using pipefy from the the starting. When I discovered this tool it had so much potential to help startups streamline their strategies. I hope it get's more and more awesome. Cheers!!
@riser_spy Thanks for your support! It means the world to us and you can be sure we're planning many improvements and new features for the next couple of months!
This looks awesome! Basically Trello on steroids. Seems to fill a lot of the gaps that we found with Trello as a project management/team management tool. Props to the Pipefy team! Definitely going to be trying this out.
First off, I’d like to start by thanking Justing Jackson for Hunting us!
My name is Alessio Alionço and I’m Pipefy’s founder and CEO. A few months back we’ve received a 2.4M seed round from Trinity Ventures, Valor Capital, Redpoint E.Ventures, Funders Club, AngelList, 500 Startups, and the founders of Zendesk to name a few.
This investment was exactly what we’ve needed to work full speed and release Pipefy 2.0: a fully redesigned, improved version of Pipefy that’s made it even easier for companies to more efficiently manage their processes.
Having our startup templates bundle featured on Product Hunt today is the perfect icing on our success cake! We’re very grateful for the acknowledgement and we can safely say we’ll come back with exciting news many, many times in the near future!
Cheers! =)
