Hi everyone, Pincone founder here! 👋 It's great to be here (again), launching a really big update to Pincone that's been a long time in the making. Up until now, Pincone has been a great place for you to save websites and articles. It also allows you to subscribe to RSS feeds across the web. Now, it's even better with _Inboxes_! ## What are Inboxes? **Inboxes make it possible to receive newsletters and emails within Pincone, to an inbox of your choosing.** No more cluttering your personal or professional email accounts with dozens of subscriptions! Every inbox that you create in Pincone gets a unique email address that you can use to subscribe to one or more newsletters. I've been testing this out internally for a few months and it's just amazing. My biggest problem with newsletters is that they are intermixed with my work and personal emails. Even if I get a newsletter that I find interesting, I am usually in the middle of something else. With this release, all of those emails are in Pincone where I can catch up with them whenever I have some time. Usually on lazy Sundays morning with a cup of coffee. ☕️ ## How much does it cost? Our free tier allows you to use Pincone to store articles, websites, emails, etc. Out of the gate you also get access to one inbox to receive newsletters, and up to three RSS feeds. But if you like it and need more, we offer one simple, annual plan with _no restrictions_. We don’t show you ads. We don’t sell your data. By paying for Pincone, you are supporting a small, independent business. 💛 I would love it if you would give Pincone a try. If you have any questions, suggestions, or feedback just leave a comment below! Thanks everyone! 💜

Cool idea - I think this can be helpful to avoid receiving trash in your private inbox. I am not sure if I would really pay around 30 USD a year just to have a tool like this. I might register a domain and use it solely for newsletters, essentially the same thing. The RSS tool is interesting, but I cannot find any websites that still offer a service like this. I think a small collection of the most popular RSS websites would be nice.
Ivan Bozic
@g_briel, a lot of websites still offer RSS, it's just a bit hard to dig it up some times. On the pricing point, I'm not sure buying a domain and hooking up an email provider is significantly cheaper than $30/year!

This is cool because, I want to build something similar

congratulations on the launch of pincone inboxes, ivan, lea, roza, and nikola. it’s a neat solution to keep newsletters organized. i’m curious, do you plan to introduce features that allow users to interact or discuss the content within these newsletters directly in pincone?
Ivan Bozic
Hi @mashy, thank you for your support. Yep, you and your team can comment on any email!

I feel your pain, Ivan, regarding newsletters being mixed with work and personal emails. From the description, I couldn't exactly understand how to use it, like what email I should give when signing up for a newsletter. But I suppose I just need to give it a try.
Ivan Bozic
Hi @anastasiia_stepko, it's dead simple. When you sign up for Pincone, you just go and tap on "New Inbox". Then you give it a name, let's say "The Verge" if you're subscribing to one of their newsletters. Pincone gives you a unique email address that you then use to sign up for The Verge newsletter. As soon as they send an email, BAM, it's in Pincone waiting for you.
Anastasiia Stepko
@bozicivan Thank you for the explanation! Do you have ideas on how to make this process faster? I mean, when I see something interesting I want to sign up for, I just give them my email and it's done. The process that you explained is much longer and I might forget to go through it. Maybe some Chrome/Safari extension will help.
Ivan Bozic
@anastasiia_stepko, you're right. You have to very intentional, and a bit organized, at the moment. That's actually a very good idea, we could add some improvements down the line to our browser extension so that it's as simple as "right-click in your browser → create inbox → fill in address". Not promising when that's coming as we're a small team, but putting it down on our roadmap!

This release is such a game changer as from now on I can unsubscribe my email addresses from newsletters and use Pincone as my go-to tool for newsletter management—a much more private and streamlined experience. Kudos to the whole team @bozicivan @dino_tognon @lea_metlicic @roza_z_m! Congrats on the launch!
Ivan Bozic
Thanks @tvukic! 💛

Wow wow, this really is a game changer. Now I can relieve my personal email inbox and receive any newsletter directly in Pincone (no more polluting my private email). And it's beautifully organized. @bozicivan this idea is excellent!

Slapped an upvote! I'm sold on the idea of dedicated email addresses per newsletter. But I do wonder, does Pincone make it easy to switch gears between eats, reads, and industry feeds? Does their sorting hat know that sometimes I want to read about finance with my morning coffee and save the travel dreams for lunch? Because if it can make my reading as organized as a bookstore, that's not just nifty, that's next level.
Ivan Bozic
@aman_wen thank you for the support! It's so easy because you can set up as many inboxes as you want and each inbox gets its own unique email address. I have a few inboxes that are dedicated to specific newsletters, but I also have a few generic ones like "Typography" and "Cars" that I use to subscribe to a few different publications that talk about those interests. You have a little notification badge for each inbox which means you can decide when to catch up on those. Or if you find something interesting, you can add the entire email to a category in your Pincone team. That way you can pick it up later or save it for the future.

Hey @bozicivan congrats on the launch! 🥳 What could be the USP of your product which makes it different from another?? keep going.
Ivan Bozic
Thanks @sheikhirfan10! There's a few USPs (and a few coming) which made me build Pincone: - It's so easy to use it by myself or create a team and add people. I have a lot of stuff in my private team, but I also have a team for our company and I have a team with my family where we add all kinds of stuff (recipes, travel stuff, etc.) - The goal of Pincone is to be the one place where you go to catch up on stuff you're interested in. I can add articles I'm interested in to read them later, I can save websites for inspiration, I can subscribe to RSS feeds to keep up with publications, and now I can subscribe to newsletters. All in one place. - One USP that is coming later this year is the ability to add photos, videos, files, and notes to Pincone. This will allow people to use Pincone to host inspiration for their next DIY project, write a diary, share specs with their team, etc.

I'm particularly impressed with the option to create unique email addresses for different newsletters– a well-thought-out feature that enhances productivity. Nice work, Ivan!

Thanks @eileen_lim! 🙌
