Great feature guys! Does one need to have a Picotry account to use it or just to edit the video? Would be a great acquisition play if you let people generate and preview the videos but they have to create an account to actually use it :)
@emilia_korczynska1 Hi Emilia, yes you can create and view a preview of your video. If you have an account you can sign in and edit. If not you can create and account with a FREE trial and try out Pictory 😀
@emilia_korczynska1 that is exactly the idea. You can generate the preview the video without a Pictory account.
Great tool guys, I am a marketing guy and always tiered to wait for video from the designers. let me try this.
This looks like a very good light-weight tool to create informative videos quickly. On first look it seemed like a simple add-on but you really have a lot of features embedded in your editing tool. My favourite is the AI voiceovers.
I'm yet to test the tool, but is it already possible to tune the result of the final video via prompting? That would be pretty cool I think

@sambit_bhaumik You can tune the voice over you want to apply via prompting. We'll keep adding more options for tuning via prompting in our future upgrades!

So the question becomes how do you compare and contrast with similar products like https://ai.invideo.io/, which I have only just discovered.
I note you mention branding in your videos. Does that include removing watermarks from the stock images and footage, as you don't seem to specify?
That said, a quick, and I mean quick, look at the website, it looks like a good product.

💎 Pixel perfection
This is very cool! I love the interactive chat session. A couple of things I ran into: 1) I was running the GPT in Firefox, and the preview didn't come up, I copied the link to Chrome, and the preview launched as expected. 2) I pointed it to a LinkedIn article I wrote, and the GPT replied that it couldn't access it (this makes sense, but it would be cool if you could scrap LinkedIn), so I copied and pasted my blog. The chat session was "comfortable." Kudos for that! 3) It asked if I wanted a voice; I said yes, but no voiceover was created. The graphics and clips were spot on. In general, I'm pretty excited about this. Yes, I can always log in to my account, but doing quick videos like this is SO MUCH easier. Thanks for the great product! Yes, I'm a fanboy, so sue me ;)

@marty_bradley the previews are only available on Chrome so far. Sometimes ChatGPT is able to read articles from LinkedIn and Medium and sometimes it does not - so we are a little dependent on that. But, thanks for giving it a go.
Really cool GPT, creates great videos really quickly and easily, lets AI do the heavy lifting for you.

To be honest although this is a good addition to have, not everyone is going to want to pay additional costs to use GPT-4. The AI prompt should actually be part of the Pictory membership plan without having to use GPT-4 outside of Pictory to link it up. Sure it's great if you already have a membership with GPT-4 but if you look at Invideo AI service, it also offers AI test to video prompt within their platform and also with GPT-4.
Also has Pictory thought of implementing video and audio editing to use the GPT-4 prompt? For example will we be able to change, edit or delete paragraphs and footage? Will there be options to select your own chosen voice based on the Plan you're on such as using Eleven Labs voices? Will there be special effects and selective fonts added when using the GPT-4 prompt?
Is there a maximum text and video time output limitation when using GPT-4 with Pictory?
I'm interested for this to be rolled out but ultimately GPT-4 or even GPT-3.5 should be part of our membership plan to use on the Pictory platform as mentioned above.

@angelus_achilles an AI assistant in Pictory will be coming soon. Meanwhile, this Pictory GPT can help out. Our GPT already has the option to pick the voice as a part of the prompt.
This integration is ideal for short 1-2minute long videos.
