I'm a maker amongst a really great team of makers at Picatic. Two years ago we started building an event ticketing platform that focused on improving the event planning experience. After countless iterations and plenty of great feedback from our early customers (thank you), we learned that all events share the common goal of bringing people together but each event is unique in how they make that happen. We decided to build Picatic Pro which gives events organizers more flexibility in how they sell tickets online. The first version provides full control over the branding of event pages, checkout, tickets, and emails. We priced it the same as Eventbrite — $1 per ticket + 2.5% of the ticket price, never more than $10. We are currently in the works on Picatic v2.0 API that will give promoters access to customize all aspects of their event and sell tickets from anywhere on the web.
