Hello Product Hunters π,
I've been working solo on Phare, for the past 1/2 year. After 2 months of private beta, I think the platform is now good enough to be released to the world π
First I'm sorry, this is not a shiny ChatGPT for X tool, but a classic uptime monitoring / incident management as a service like the hundreds that already exists.
However, Phare is handcrafted with care, and with a small twist, as I'm aiming to create a platform that combine all the tools I love to use in my professional projects, with a minimalist touch. Uptime monitoring is only the first offered product, many more will come in the following months.
π Reliable uptime monitoring
Be informed of downtime on your website or server before your customers. Monitor lower than average response time, or misconfigured SSL certificates.
- Monitor website with HTTP(s) endpoints, or server with TCP/UDP sockets.
- Run monitoring checks from 6 locations in America, Europe or Asia.
- Know when your SSL certificate is expired or misconfigured.
π§βπ Incident management
It's ok to go down, what matters is how fast you can get back up. Get the support you deserve to cope with stressful downtime with intelligible incident management.
- Receive tailored alert on your preferred notification channel.
- Review the incident timeline, and work on a fix with your teammates.
π Powerful alert system
All products use a single powerful alerting system that can be configured to your needs, with rate limiting and granularity. Slack, Discord, and emails are already supported, with other integrations currently in development.

As a product strategist and startup visionary, I am genuinely impressed by the launch of Minkit Uptime. This product has the potential to reshape the way businesses and individuals approach website uptime and performance monitoring, ensuring that they stay ahead in the digital space.
How do you plan to enhance the product's scalability and adaptability to accommodate the diverse and ever-evolving needs of your user base in the rapidly changing landscape of web technologies?
Congratulations on the successful launch of Minkit Uptime, and I eagerly anticipate the future innovations and successes your team will bring to this space!
Thank you @anastasiia_veselova,
Phare is part of Scaleway's startup program, which offer us advisory to scale our service. Also, our monitors checks are run on AWS lambda to offer monitoring from every continent at any scale π
at first i thought im browsing GumRoad π€ sounds interesting but i hv seen 100s of similar projects posted here. some of them were shutdown in less than year. how r u different and at what point you would say that your product has reached sustainability?
Congrats on the launch! I used to work on stream processing platforms for real-time monitoring, so I'm a huge fan of this space! Really appreciate the focus on minimalism here. A lot of monitoring tools come with bells and whistles you'll never actually use (but pay a lot for).
I'll definitely be using MinKit! Excited to see the security and analytics features that are soon to come!
Congratulations π on your launch! I had one question for now. When you say 100,000 checks in the Free subscription, do you mean 100,000/ month or 100,000 in total ( non renewable)?
Hello @nishant_raj10, on the free plan you can access all features and perform 100k monitoring checks every month, which is enough to cover 2 websites every minute from a single region π
It's a great product, I was able to participate in the beta and it's really a great project, I'm very happy that we have a solution like that in Europe. Can't wait to see what happens next.
