Hello! I'm Henry. I work on design and UI engineering at Perplexity. If you are new to Perplexity, our product provides instant answers and cited sources on any topic, powered by AI and web search. I've always wanted an app on my phone where I could ask any question I could think of and get a good answer. No matter how you achieve that, it's a very difficult problem. With the latest developments in AI we've been able to approach this problem with new ideas and technology. Rather than just throw technology out into the world, It's important to us that we build something actually useful. I think that in many ways Perplexity for your phone is the best expression of that. As you go about your day, being able to get any information you want as fast as possible, especially by inputting with your voice, has been a great experience for me. For us this is just the beginning as we want to continue to build more useful features and be available on more platforms. I hope you all find it useful too!

I like the idea! I think this app has big potential. It would be even better if it could give me location-based responses, like recommendations or information tailored to my surroundings. Congrats on the launch! :fire:

You can save a mobile webage as web app for androids, works pretty well. I use Vivaldi, just press the Vivialdi Icon then "add to home screen". But also, yes ANDROID APP PLEASE :)
