As a 3D artist I was looking for an app that I can take screenshot, record screen and annotate all together. And it would be nice that have this app available for all linux, windows and mac. I ended up making one. It's an open source project called Peek. I inspired by deprecated linux project peek and added some new features.

really cool just pinned it to taskbar . a tool that record a screen is a must I had used camtasia but its soo heavey and not works well and slow now this tool will save me lots of time , wish that it had the features of microsoft snippit tool . like a - keyboard short code - and ability to select part of screen after activating like in snipped tool .
