PathFinder — Curates educational online resources together for upskilling

Hey Product Hunters! Sid here 👋 My co-founder self-taught himself software engineering over lockdown and asked me to help him find useful YouTube videos and online courses such as those from Coursera. This is where we witnessed the beautiful problem we all face where there is too much high quality content out there and so its difficult to know: 1) Where do I start learning? 2) Where do I go next from after completing this resource? Thus, PathFinder was born (we treat it like our baby 🫡 ). Our dream is to build a world where everyone is exposed to the opportunities that can progress them onto their future goals, regardless of their background, age and current ability. Our two main stakeholders are learners and employers. For a **learner**: 1. PathFinder is completely free. ❌💰 2. Find a path which guides your learning through quality free online resources. 3. Be a part of our community to learn better in a social environment and contribute to the structure of the path. 4. Apply what you're learning to open-ended projects so that you can make something that is uniquely you and show it to the world! (Psss, if its your goal, we can also help you showcase this to employers so you’re more attractive to them 😉) For an **employer**: 1. Find quality, evidence-driven leads by seeing the learners’ progress and projects on our paths (after they approve sharing their information with you to prevent legal issues like Mark Zuck 🤝) 2. Your company can sponsor our projects to increase the exposure of our learners to your company and give them a taste for the type of work they would be doing with you. You would think that with a mission “To educate the world” combined with a Product Hunt debut the product would be accessible and explorable. Unfortunately, It’s neither. There is not much to review beyond what you see in the screenshots. Even worse: the search functionality doesn’t even work.
