@onmyway133 Just wondering: both Copied and Paste have iCloud syncing, but they don't record what's copied on the iPhone without explicitly copying the item into the spp first. How's PastePal handling that?
@t55 Hi, first thanks a lot for checking PastePal. PastePal has iCloud sync too, and you can turn this on or off. Further it only synces what is in PastePal history, not system history. On iOS it honors iOS 14 privacy, so it won't listen to system pasteboard automatically, but you have the option to manually insert item into PastePal, you can do this with share sheet extension too. @lsherman Haven't tried Copied myself, first time hear of it actually. But I make this with a flexible side bar, and a main view for all kinds of search and filter. Also I tweak so it works with iCloud sync and handoff between Mac, iPhone and iPad apps. Also you can drag and drop from the side bar. There are also lots of context menu options to view as raw, image, pdf, web. As well as powerful rules to allow or ignore certain things
Hi PH family, it's Khoa here, a long-time open-sourcer and tech writer. Lately, I've been crafting this fantastic app PastePal that I'm thrilled to share with you today.
As someone who uses Mac, iPhone, and iPad a lot. I constantly find the need to organize my pasteboard and have it accessible across devices in a beautiful and convenient way. Plus I have dozen of data like Slack messages, JIRA tickets, token keys, color codes, and links that I want to organize the best way so I can access later. When I heard that my colleagues have the same problem and can't find the best solution, it itches me to solve this.
πββοΈ PastePal is the best universal clipboard manager for Mac, iPhone, and iPad.
I've spent months tweaking the design and feature to bring the most satisfying experience when it comes to copy and paste. I also try to bring the same grid view experience from Mac to iPad. On iPhone, I aim for simplicity while honoring pasteboard privacy on iOS 14+
π UNIVERSAL PURCHASE
The app is universal and you can turn on iCloud Sync across devices. Everything is under your control. You can turn on automatic pasteboard watching on Mac, set up custom rules and collections. On iOS, no automatic pasteboard observation to preserve iOS 14 privacy policy, but you can manually insert more text and links into PastePal history.
π₯ CONVENIENT BUT POWERFUL
On Mac, there is a flexible bar that can float in any direction you want. If you need more advanced features like search, filter, and settings. Click the maximize button to enter main view mode with a beautiful grid view.
π UNIVERSAL CLIPBOARD
If you enable Handoff for your devices, PastePal will take advantage of Universal clipboard and you can access your pasted items faster. Plus, you can easily Share with context menu from PastePal item.
Thanks for checking it out. There is more to be done and looking forward to your feedback. Visit PastePal at https://onmyway133.com/pastepal and Twitter https://twitter.com/pastepalapp to find out more β€οΈ
This looks awesome! I use Paste which is pretty great so I won't buy it but I'll definitely take a look once my subscription expires. Paste is great but it wouldn't hurt to add an "omniscient view" too!
Finally! a non-subscription based clipboard manager, would love to see a copystack function where I can stack multiple items to the clipboard and paste all at once.
Wow this looks great. Love the icon and the features look handy too. Going to trial this out and hope I've found my replacement of Paste app (after they went subscription route)
@zer00 Ja if you enable iCloud Sync in Mac and iPhone apps, data will be synced between devices. Plus if you enable Handoff, things you copy on Mac will be available on PastePal on your iPhone and iPad
