I hunted Pastel 2.0 about 6 months ago and now the team has put together a new feature that's a simple bookmarklet which lets you write comments on any page and get a link to share. Simple and straightforward. Give it a try.
Thanks for the hunt Hiten!
Hi PH Community,
Pastel co-founder here. Around 6 months ago we launched an updated version of Pastel that enabled feedback on images in addition to websites. We had an overwhelmingly positive response and with more than double the regular usage since our last launch, we’ve gotten a lot of great feedback.
Two things we heard often was that users want an easier way to create canvases as well as a free way to use Pastel. Today, we’re really excited to be launching both of those.
With a great suggestion from one awesome user (Christian from Portland), we’ve put together a simple bookmarklet that you can use to start getting feedback on any website with one click. And with the addition of a free forever plan, we hope that even more people will be able to get out of email hell and start using Pastel to get feedback on the things they’re building.
Your support means a lot to us! We’d love to hear your thoughts on Pastel and any ways you’d like to see us improve the product.
Thank you!
I've been looking for a solution for this for a long time... and none of the existing ones on the market work... or they aren't fast/easy to use.
This looks really promising! Do you have plans to add things like the ability to add hyperlinks in the comments, or attach images?
@brianleejackson Hey Brian, that's great to hear! :)
We're planning to add file attachments to comments before the end of November and we actually already support hyperlinks in comments - you just have to click into the detailed view of the comment to be able to follow the link. Here's an example on the Kinsta page: https://usepastel.com/link/wj485...
We use Pastel for soliciting client feedback on website and graphic designs and it is AWESOME. So easy to use, and the integration with Asana is very clean and straightforward. Makes my job in the middle between clients and designers much easier.
