Another exciting update to Paste — with a refreshed design and improved iCloud sync.
Philipp Ronnenberg
Well done! Where do I find details about the refreshed design?

Launching soon!
Being a long-time iOS user, this is such a breath of fresh air. Great work, @stel2k!

The new iOS App Freezes! The old app was perfect! This update is a step backwards. What happened to the “List View”? It is missing! I should be able to switch from gallery view back to list view. When I tap the icon at top to change view, it instead loads pin boards. I love this app, but the new design has little boxes and I’d like to change back to a list view. Is this possible? I have looked and do not see an option for a list view, instead of a gallery. When I tap the Paste tile it copies content instead of the expected opening action to edit. Please correct! Thank you

Appreciate your feedback, @lucky_jeffman, but we’re only moving forward, no step back! :) The list view has been deprecated in favor of the new dynamic grid view that adapts to any screen size and aligns the Paste experience across all platforms. There’s no option to switch to a list view. The default tap action has been changed to “copy” - the most common use-case when working with Paste. But check out the long-tap - it now provides a quick preview as well as lots of useful actions. Feel free to contact us at pasteapp.io/contact if you need any assistance, and thanks again!

I have to agree with @lucky_jeffman here. I’ve been a big fan of Paste for some years now, but the new app is unusable on my iPhone 14 Pro Max. It keeps on crashing.
Jeff Man
@stel2k I’m missing the list view. It’s really awful, a struggle, and has interrupted my work flow! The list view should have been kept as the default and the option to pollute the screen with a gallery view as an option. I can’t even swipe to delete anymore. When I tap it copies instead of entering edit. I disagree, It’s truly a step backwards! If there’s no update to correct this, which is what it appears to be, I’ll have to cancel my subscription and delete the app. It sounds like you don’t really care and are happy to lose a customer. Also, it seems you have no plans to add the list view back. What an epic fail and how short sided and unfortunate. You guys must not use the app every day! What a shame.
Jeff Man
@robert_jan Same here! It’s unusable on a Pro Max. I sure hope a list view option is added back, please.

Congrats on the launch! I’ve often thought of using similar software but always backed out. Maybe I should give ‘Paste’ a shot. By the way, which feature of ‘Paste’ stands out the most to you all?

So I had paste for several years. After seeing this new version, the decided to check it out. When I bought up the app after selecting visit from the PH link, it asked me to update the app. After doing so, I was asked to select a subscription. I’m pretty sure I had the pro version. I tried to select restore purchase and it said nothing to restore. What a the real kicker is that all of my paste from the past have been locked forcing me to choose a subscription. What gives? Why am I not able to access my paste paste?
James Dory
If I am not able to get my paste back, why bother having the app installed?

Cross-device syncing: Paste keeps your clipboard history synced across all of your Mac and iOS devices, so you can always access your copied items no matter where you are.

I absolutely love this app and rely on it daily. Is there a way to export or sync the clipboard, perhaps with apps like Notion? I ask, because organizing or cleaning up all my past items is a bit challenging with the current UI
Dmitry Obukhov
Thanks for your feedback, @jameswahba! Paste stores any type of content, so it’s quite chalenging to export it to a format that other apps can handle. However, you can simply select multiple items you want yo export and paste them at once to any other app.
