Our priority has always been to create a tool that's not only functional but also a joy to use, and we've carefully listened to all our users' feedback.
In the coming days, we'll also be sharing insights into our design and development process, revealing the challenges and learnings we encountered along the way – stay tuned!
We truly appreciate each comment, suggestion, and word of encouragement that comes our way. Feel free to ask me anything.
@stel2k I've been using paste for years now and I can't see myself working without it. Paste took the clipboard to another level! Keep up the great work!
@stel2k Did the iOS version get an update as well? Had a lot of problems with Paste 3.2. Besides that: big fan of Paste since the early days. Also: do rules let you automatically file pasted images or code in designated pinboards?
@t55 the iOS app update is our next priority, and we have already started! Currently, the Rules allow you to disable certain things/apps from being tracked and captured.
@stel2k Good to know, thanks! As for the rules: would you consider adding rules for automatic filing of image pastes or code pastes or screenshots or urls etc into designated folders or pinboards?
I've been using Paste for a long time now and version 4, with its resizeable window is a fantastic addition. Thank you for continuing to improve an already amazing and really useful app.
This looks interesting. I've tried a bunch of clipboard managers before, and i can't tell if its the marketing or what but this one looks way better! Excited to try it out!
I’m always copying stuff and this little app brings value to me every day I work. I’m using it for over 2 years now and surprised it’s not the app of the day today.
This seems like the coolest update so far, congrats on the launch!
There is just one thing I could wish for is for paste to work in figma with copying other stuff than text and images, maybe that's technically impossible though, but I remember seeing a website where you can copy stuff and then paste into figma and you get a real element with layers
I’ve been relying on Paste for a couple of years now and I must say it has become my ultimate productivity tool. It is, without a doubt, the most indispensable app in my work arsenal. I’m excited to try 4.0!
Wow, I'm really excited to see the new version of Paste on Product Hunt! 🤩
The updates look fantastic, and it seems like the team has put a lot of effort into enhancing the user experience. Can't wait to get my hands on it and explore all the new features. Great job, guys!
I use Paste more than a year! I love this app, it saves me so much time as I maintain content in different locations: coding editor, Notion, emails, social media
And I actually recommend Paste to almost all my software engineer friends!!
Love the product! 11/10
P.S I read in comments about the privacy point, that everything is stored locally. I think it's a good idea to highlight it in slides/website :)
Cool website! - in my opinion, you don't need the first images when you land on the website. At first, it looks like my laptop has gone rogue.
Cool product! will be trying it for sure!
I can't imagine a better clipboard product than Paste. Great job, folks! Happy to see a new version announcement on the product hunt and good luck with your launch journey 🙌
Hey, congrats on the new launch.
A little concerning that the search function *still* seems to be broken on Mac which it has been since I reported it (checks email) 3 months ago. To the day in fact....
With search, Paste was *this* close to being a total replacement for TextExpander for me, but without it, the utility has dropped considerably for me. The core is still great, but this seems like a pretty fundamental thing that should work.
