Hi everyone, I'm Shridhar. 👋

I've created Outdoor Gyms 🗺, combining 1000+ data points I found online + crowdsourced for public park gyms where you can do workouts.

@amrith Yes, it's a combination of 6 different crowd-sourced "google custom maps" from reddit. I've cleaned them for redundancies and crowd-sourced several other points from this site itself.

Nice idea - I tried adding a place but it's not very accurate. It's hard for the user to pin point exactly a spot where a place is.

@petecodes I couldn't figure it out at first but you had to move the map, not the marker itself to pinpoint.

@petecodes @_sergeh thanks for the feedback! i added some instructions saying that you gotta move the map. Not ideal, but it was the quickest way to launch.

Cool project! Can see quite a few missing spots in Vancouver. On the implementation side: I assume you maintain your internal list of outdoor gyms. It would be cool if this can be integrated with OSM, as it already has the support for this kind of data: https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/w.... Of course that would be a completely different story, so I'm just thinking out loud here.

Looks great to me. I even found a few outdoor gyms in my hometown of New Orleans.
