Turn your event, community or workspace into a true networking opportunity by providing attendees a quick and easy way to discover and connect each other, online and in-person.
π Hey everyone!
I'd like to introduce you to Orbit Connect, a new product we've built to help improve networking at hybrid events, communities and workspaces.
In the era of online events, the best networking opportunities we often get is a participant list or a chat-roulette style video call. In-person, it's not much better. Co-working spaces are a haven for networking but all to often are we sat, surrounded by others, wondering who everyone is.
As we move closer towards hybrid interactions, we need a quick and easy way to easily discover and connect with the right people, whether we're online or in-person.
With Orbit Connect we've optimised the experience to make networking with a group of people quick and easy, both for organisers and attendees.
Organisers can create a virtual networking space in seconds, then share a link or QR code with attendees. Attendees set up a quick profile (if they haven't before) and have visibility of other attendees with those who match their signals, skills or interests. No apps to download, no long onboarding flows and a good-looking professional profile you can re-use for future events.
Orbit Connect is free and part of our community platform, however, you don't need to be running your community on Orbit to make use of it.
We've set up a live space for Product Hunters so you can take it for a spin to connect with other visitors β you'll get access to it via the 'Get it' link above.
We'd love to hear your feedback, questions and suggestions in the comments below.
Thanks!
We've been using Orbit for a long time at MK Geek Night and find it a great tool for helping to build out our physical and virtual community. Really useful way of communicating and were starting to explore integrating it into our in-person events.
Highly recommended for anyone who has an existing or starting a new community, wether that's online or physical, a useful platform and tool for both π
Whenever I get an email from Orbit I know it's going to be something interesting, and the product itself is clearly made with such attention to detail it makes for a delightful experience.
