Hi founders!
After the Investor list (2023) and the Fundraising CRM (2024), we're introducing our next big feature to help you raise: OpenVC Decks.
It's basically a free DocSend alternative. โก๏ธ
โ Upload your pitch deck and generate unique deck links
โ Share your deck with investors via email, Twitter, Whatsapp...
โ Track analytics: open rate, viewing time, and more
The best part: all the data is automagically pulled into your OpenVC CRM. No more back-and-forth between your deck analytics and your pipeline!
Every founder can use it today for free. Let us know what can be improved, your feedback is gold for us.
Thank you all for supporting our launch! ๐

@stephnass@max_savonin1 Answering the genuine questions about the product for anyone reading this and might be interested :
- You upload the pdf file you want as a pitch deck, so you can integrate all branding elements you want just like any other pdf file
- Your pitch deck is only sent to the investors you decide to send it to. A unique link is generated for each investor.
- You can import and export all the data from and into the OpenVC CRM as CSV files, so you can use the data with any other software
Looks cool. I used Brieflink for quite sometime, but ultimately had to revert back to docsend and drive as the mentioned one gets too slow often. Hope the experience would be smooth with OpenVC Decks.
Congrats, @stephnass! OpenVC Decks sounds like a productive tool for founders. Seamless integration with the CRM is crucial for fundraising. Excited to see how this evolves! ๐
As a bootstrapping founder -- big thanks for building a free tool!
I'd much rather spend more money on making the customer happy than on optimizing for VCs (with all due respect ofc)
Exciting launch @stephnass! OpenVC Decks looks like a must-have tool for keeping investor files organized. Competitors like Carta, DocSend, and others in this space should take notice.
Great job on launching OpenVC Decks, @stephnass! This is such a timely tool for founders looking to streamline their fundraising efforts. The integration with the Fundraising CRM is a game-changer โ itโll simplify the tracking process significantly. Data-driven decisions are crucial, and having those insights automatically pulled into our pipeline is a massive relief. Excited to see how this will shape up in terms of traction and growth. Looking forward to testing it out! Any plans for additional features down the line? Thanks for the hard work, guys!
This sounds like a game-changer for founders like us! Would love to know how the analytics compare to DocSend in detail and if there are any limits on the number of decks we can generate? Also, is the integration with the Fundraising CRM seamless for all current users? Great job, @stephnass
@stephnass@ema_elisi Hi Ema,
-> The analytics are : who opened your deck, for how long, from which location (based on IP address), on what device and browser (e.g "Chrome on Windows" or "Safari on Iphone"), and what slides they viewed
-> You can upload 5 different decks and generate an unlimited amount of unique shareable links for each one
-> The integration with the OpenVC CRM is seamless for all users
Congrats on the launch, @stephnass! A free DocSend alternative sounds like a game changer for founders. ๐ Can't wait to start using OpenVC Decks for my pitch! Upvoted!
OpenVC Decks looks like a solid tool for founders! Generating unlimited deck links and tracking powerful analytics directly in your CRM is super helpful. Plus, sharing via email and social media takes the hassle out of getting your pitch in front of investors. Can't wait to see how it evolves!
Amazing software! Really helps with the super difficult fundraising process. Makes my life as a founder just that much easier so I can spend more energy on the rest of the startup!
