Hi Hunters, We’re excited to launch the new and improved version of Onset, and wanted to share exactly what’s been improved! - We’ve completely rebranded, from head(er) to foot(er). - Public Pages has been re-designed and now users can easily see what’s been added, fixed, deprecated, etc. - Also, any companies using Statuspage.io can show the status directly from their Onset Public Page. If you have any questions, feel free to comment or tweet me at @sonnyt Thank you!

Honestly, this is exactly what I was looking for. Feature Requests: - API to add new versions (does this exist?) - Widget or a way to show in an IFRAME without a header/footer - Make it paid or open source the base of it. Free services always make me hesitant because they have no incentive to keep the product going. Happy to chat about these points more.

@ashpangeek Thank you for you feedback! - Currently no timeframe for API, maybe we can look into web hooks, something like Slack does. - We are working on creating a widget that you can throw in your web app or website. - Hahah that is one of my concerns. We started working on the paid version. However, currently we are just trying to get as much as feedback as possible on the tool. I want provide something worthy of your monies. Rest assured our users will be grandfathered in. I would love to talk more, I will PM you on here. Best,
Shi Ling
@sonnyt This is awesome, I've been looking for a better way to announce releases to users, but I have the same concerns as @ashpangeek. Love to here more about the roadmap for commercial version.

I created an account, but the "Sign In" link is no working. I've tried on several browsers. Looks awesome though and can't wait to try.

@gregstone14 This should be fixed 😄

It’s a useful tool if your clients or partners have ever complained that something was updated, changed, deprecated, or fixed without them ever knowing. It’s give your audience more autonomy to stay informed, which relieves the burden from your product and marketing teams.

Pros:

User friendly. Receptive to feedback. Customizing abilities. Everything included for a free. Onset support for any hurdles you run into.

Cons:

Tool is young and still evolving. Small team so feature requests can be slow to implement.
