Hi Product Hunt πŸ‘‹ Thanks for checking out OneUp! OneUp has been built to solve this problem: πŸ€“ You create evergreen content, whether it be a blog post, podcast, YouTube video, or something else 🀞 As soon as it's live, you share it (only once) across your social media accounts 😒 It's seen by only ~5% of your followers πŸ‘Ž With OneUp, you can easily schedule that same evergreen post to be recycled for a specific number of times, at set intervals = More engagement, more traffic, more business. For example, if you want to share your latest blog post once a month for the next 3 months, you can do that in about 10 seconds. OneUp works with Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Linkedin, and Google+. What is evergreen content? Good question! Evergreen content is simply content that will still be relevant and interesting 6, 12, and 18+ months from now. I wrote a blog post with a few examples of evergreen content: https://medium.com/@davis1/what-... How is OneUp different from Buffer? Buffer is an awesome tool, and we respect everything they do! However, Buffer does not allow you to recycle your posts. You would have to manually schedule the same post over and over again πŸ˜• How is OneUp different from MeetEdgar? MeetEdgar is another great social media management tool. However, it starts at a steep $49/month, and doesn't work with Pinterest or G+. Like OneUp, MeetEdgar allows you to recycle your evergreen posts, but it requires that you upload posts to a queue. The more content you add to your queue, the less frequently your posts will resurface. Depending on what you're looking for, MeetEdgar could be a great solution. However, many people just want their posts to be recycled at a set interval, like "once a month for the next 3 months", without having to do the mental calendar math: If I have 56 posts in my queue and I add my blog post, how often will it be republished if I am sharing 3 posts a day, but adding 2-5 more each week? How would Product Hunt use OneUp to make their lives easier? Wow, I'm so glad you asked that! Here is an example of how Product Hunt might use OneUp to save them time and increase their reach: https://medium.com/@davis1/how-w... We hope you give OneUp a try! Let us know if you have any questions 😊

@davis1 @daviswbaer Are you planning to do outbound sales for your product ? If yes, a) Target companies who have recently raised funding. They are going to spend money on marketing and it might make sense for them to use the product. b) Target companies who are hiring for social media manager. If a company is hiring for that role, it means it is willing to invest money on social media that is why hiring for that role. Happy to hear your thoughts on this :)

@davisbaer - looking forward to testing this - when you say for the starter plan 3 social profiles does that mean we need to pick 3 from Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and Google+? So if we had an account that had a presence on all of these we would need to move to the individual account? Does it work for Facebook Pages, Groups and Profiles? And does it work for LinkedIn profiles and pages? Thanks
Davis Baer
@krishnade Hey Krishna, yes, you are correct. If you wanted to connect more than 3 accounts it would require an Individual plan. OneUp works with LinkedIn profiles and Pages, and FB pages. FB Groups is coming soon :)
Davis Baer
@krishnade Hey Krishna, Facebook Groups are now up and running πŸ˜„

Welcome to the social media app world! We’ve built this feature in Quuu, how do you handle duplicates when creating evergreen content for future posts? Obviously sending the same posts goes against twitters new policy. We had to make changes to how users recycle evergreen content.
Scott Wyden Kivowitz
I've been hoping Buffer would add this feature so I wouldn't need yet another service for social media automation.
Davis Baer
@scottwyden Thanks Scott, we hope OneUp meets your needs πŸ€“
Davis Baer
@scottwyden I wouldn't hold your breath πŸ˜… We would be honored if you gave OneUp a try!
Scott Wyden Kivowitz
@daviswbaer they have it on their Trello board, under "leaving it for now" which means they're exploring it, but not on the immediate roadmap. https://trello.com/c/wLLHpRYD/9-...

Looks great! I wish you guys had Instagram and the option to delete old post though. I would have started using it right away!
Vishal Kumar
@charleshancom Your old tweet will be deleted first before publishing the same tweet again. For Instagram, please email us on "support@oneupoapp.io" with subject "Instagram integration" and we will revert back to you with solution.

@daviswbaer @vishal_kumar2 Congrats on the launch. I like the post expiry feature. Also, can I use a custom URL shortener? The one hooked up to my bit.ly account?
Vishal Kumar
@daviswbaer @shalinjain27 Hi Shalin, yes you can connect your Bit.ly account to OneUp and it will automatically shorten all the URLs you will put while scheduling posts :)

Good concept and great value. This seems like the whole package - with the "tutoring" part, where you clearly explain what it does and why it is important to use it. I love it! The more competition in this area, the better for the end customer! Good luck!
Davis Baer
@mrbartboch Thanks Bart! πŸ˜„

As an active user, I will say directly that such repetitive posts are very shaking and begin to look like spam

Pros:

Remind those who missed

Cons:

Spoiled information

Vishal Kumar
I do not agree with you. It totally depends on how frequently you are repeating the posts. If you are repeating a post once every month, i am not sure how it will look like spam. Even, once per week will not make it look like spam.
Victoria MORGAN
There is a certain app where it will be going to use for managing the social network through that will be adjusted for the user to get https://microsoftsupport.co/micr... the whole concept to finish the working part.
DJJD
Giving this a chance! Scheduled some monthly posts and will report back in a few weeks. I can't really say much now, other than that it was fairly simple, quick and easy to get going. Pretty good onboarding, no real confusion. Good job!
Davis Baer
@gmrlbiz Thanks Jake! Glad that you found it easy to use 😊

This this this is a deal. I have tried multiple tools but I must say Oneup rules them out. 1. By price 2. By performance What I most liked: 1. Simplicity 2. Performance 3. Price 4. Support What I didn't liked: 1. The product lacks competitor analysis. This feature is costly. I hope they have it in their roadmap. https://vaizle.com does this work. Rest, this deal is a gold for startups. Go on. Buy it. You will love this. πŸ˜€
Davis Baer
@ankitkumar10 Hey Ankit, we do have a competitor analysis on our pricing page πŸ€“

Meet Edgar is too expensive, OneUp seems like a great alternative

Pros:

Much cheaper than MeetEdgar

Cons:

none

They are absolutely hopeless when it comes to resolving any issues. The software forever generates erros failing 100 to 200 posts at a time. Total avoid and a complete waste of time and money. I have been using Oneup for managing the social media accounts of our digital business. They have 101 different errors and every day new errors show up for no rhyme or reason. Therir customer service is pathetic, they just dont reply and carry a we dont care attitude. When you have 300 to 400 posts scheduled the amount of time you will end up fixing all the posts and their reschecdule reuirements. I would assume Oneup should be paying users to use their software. Initially i was tolerant and kept editing failed posts time and again. Inspite of paying a a full price monthly subscription without any discounts or deals they just dont care. I dont think any marketer on entrepreneur should put up with such pathetic service. Dont waste your time and money go elsewhere!!!

I’ve always wondered how MeetEdgar could get away with charging 50 bucks a month for a barebones product that offers so little value. 50 bucks a month is what DirecTV Now charges for 80 channels. It’s the price of Netflix, Hulu and a New York Times subscription combined. It felt like a blatant cash grab and to me it was insulting. Glad someone finally came in with a simple tool, with clear messaging, that just works, and at a reasonable price. There’s so much crap in the social media space, it’s so frustrating.
Davis Baer
@deleted-1220846 Thanks Jamal! We hope you enjoy using OneUp πŸ˜ƒ

Great tool for anyone who wants to easily manage social media accounts from small to large. Support is A-1: quick, accommodating, flexible and smart. I've tried a few different tools, and OneUp is the most comprehensive.

Pros:

Evergreen posting and EXCELLENT customer support

Cons:

Nothing yet!

Weston Roberts
This website is garbage. They will lie to you about free trial services and charge you obscene amounts of money. I used the service for less than 2 hours, and they are trying to charge me $300 for an account I canceled.
Jardel
Any plans on integrations with Instagram?
