It's one part Guitar Hero, one part music teacher. You use your actual electric guitar plugged into a USB or Console via a special cable, so playing actually makes you better at "real" guitar too. I've been playing this for a few months now, and am totally hooked. There are sections for sessioning freestyle, for learning songs, even for grinding out fundamentals, plus a mission system on top to guide you through based on your skill level and chosen "path" (lead guitar, rhythm, or bass). It's really followed through on it's promise to make learning guitar easy and fun. Great way to relax at the end of the day, but also still feel like you're spending time wisely.
