NotePlan Calendar 2 on iOS — Organize Everything - Calendar, Notes and To-Dos
4

NotePlan for Mac, iPad, and iPhone is a unique combination of calendar, notes and to-do list with iCloud Calendar Events and Reminders integration - all in one place. It’s a bullet journal style daily planner for the digital age. The minimalistic design doesn’t bind you to a certain style and gives freedom to adapt it to a wide range of workflows.

Noteplan is planning with no pressure, every day you have an clean sheet and you can pick your own importnt stuff. The macOS App is out of date compare to iOS now but will soon get an Update, it’s the next priority of Developer

Pros:

Simple Way to make an Daily Plan / Journal, Habits in BuJo style , Nice UI, UX

Cons:

Search on tags through the Notes and calendar is missing, save searches and tags panel

Hi Hunters! So excited to announce NotePlan 2 on iOS. Finally, after developing it from scratch for more than a year with a long beta phase and tons of constructive user feedback! It’s a milestone v2.0 release and a complete redesign which includes the hottest feature requests: iCloud calendar events & reminders can be created and edited, a week view was added, project to-dos can be synced directly into the calendar and finally it can be downloaded with a 14-day trial without upfront costs or subscription. The whole app got also a huge face-lift, both, for the visual parts and gestures. NotePlan originates in a search for a daily planning tool which doesn’t need constant maintenance and is not a black hole for to-dos. Let me know if you have any questions!

Really aligned with how I think and work. New iOS app looks very good, but I am old and still work mostly on the desktop. Mac app only shows month view or day view, whereas I prefer to see the entire week.

Pros:

Matches the way I work - make lists and then prioritize and check off items

Cons:

Somewhat convoluted interface; one more calendar app; Mac app only shows month and daily views (no week view)

I've been using NotePlan for a couple years now and Eduard (the developer) is super responsive - which is a real plus. I have two ideas to improve the product which I'll email him about and I'm sure he'll add it to the future feature list.

Pros:

Markdown & easy access to all files via iCloud

Cons:

No PC version (but I can access notes via my iCloud drive on my PC). A dropbox option would be nice.
