@wowwowlubov Thanks for your comment! Since it is for Digital Nomads, they are open to "go where the people are" anyway. I basically scratched my own itch with it. For me personally, it is just enough to "know" that person ABC is sitting in the café across the street. So, knowing this will make me wanna move to this café and strike up a conversation in real life. It is all about meeting other people - not necessarily to communicate via the app. In fact, the app does not even provide any kind of communication channel (so far, let's see how this develops)
@wowwowlubov And using the map makes it much easier to actually strike up a conversation because you already know that the person at place ABC wants to talk about - let's say - tax-free life. So, this person is open to talk and you can just go there and say "Hey, you are Matt, right? I saw your profile on NomadWith.me. How do you live a tax-free life?".
You have an instant topic to talk about and the barrier to actually start a conversation is more or less erased 😊
@kehui_guo Go for it! Just do it, it's gonna be fine and fun! And yes, it is very crucial to know where fellow DN's are. Not everyone is sitting in Bali 😊 Just make sure to check-in a more specific location, not only "Phuket, Thailand". This info is already nice but you should tell others that you are in café XYZ. Just use a nickname if you don't like your name publicly visible 💙
Congratulations on the launch! This is quite interesting. Have you thought about collaborating with some other popular communities for Digital Nomads? The biggest value of this platform can be achieved with a lot of traffic. And it can be a nice addition to some of the popular Digital Nomad communities so it's a win-win.

How do you ensure user privacy and safety when sharing location data?
Are there any plans to integrate this with existing nomad communities or coworking spaces?

@kyrylosilin That is totally up to the user. You can just share your basic info on the map like what you are wearing today, you can also use a nickname, or any avatar to be "safe" if this a concern. The main idea behind is to tell people around that you actually exist and that you are willing to talk, connect, chat, drink, smoke, date - whatever floats your boat :).
Providing basic information about yourself also helps other people to actually start talking to you if they already know that they can talk to you.
@kyrylosilin Regarding integration: for co-working spaces it is not really necessary because every DN knows more or less that you can meet other DN in co-working spaces. What I found during my travels is that soooo many are just sitting somewhere. In a day spa, in cafés, restaurants, bars, even massage places offer nice seating and food. But those places are not really the place where you would expect others to be. DN life is not only about Co-working spaces. They don't even offer real value compared to other places that are not "designed" to be a working space.

This is so nice! I believe it can also benefit people working from home. Sometimes it's challenging to meet new people or find new places to work from. As an introvert, I am not sure to jump in yet but I love to see it's available!
