I really like the concept Pierre. One of the things I see that is so important to help be successful is accountability. With this I believe it will help people push them to create. Getting to the finish line is hard, and I can see how this will help.
@michaeljnovotny Thanks for the kind words! Our focus #1 is to help this community with some tools that can help them collaborate together! Collective intelligence for no-code.
Enjoyed chatting with you, Pierre. NCC looks very promising & Iโm stoked to be involved in the early beta. With your give-first nature and focus on community, Iโm sure youโll bring a lot of value to no-code makers everywhere. All the best!
I was fortunate enough to register as a beta user for NCC. So far the platform's been an incredible resource for my no-code journey.
The team is well and truly on their way towards building the Stack Overflow for no-code makers ๐ฅ
@lachlankirkwood Thanks you so much Lachlan! We were thrilled to have as one of the first users. You are such an asset to the nocode community with you building and sharing your knowledge!
Love the execution and the whole gamification angle! Pierre and Laurent, you guys are taking no-code movement to the next level. Congrats and good luck!
Thanks @whit_anderson ! We had fun coming up with gamification part and as you said we hope it go way to motivate our members. We'll have to think of cool things to do with the leaderboard and reward the more active ones.
Thank you so much @fannin_seth ๐ We definitely had some fun and went off-road with the design. Glad you like and I see you working on some great stuff, nichepod right?
Hey everyone, ๐
Thrilled to be launching NoCode Club on PH today!
๐ค About us
We are the co-founders of Hello Tyro, a platform connecting interns and startups in Belgium ๐ง๐ช, by day and no-code makers by night!
We've had a ton of fun building this platform to bring together talented makers who all enjoy helping out fellow no-code builders.
โWhat is NoCode Club?
NCC is the gamified community of no-code makers collaborating on challenges while they build with no-code tools.
What can you do on NoCode Club?
- Post your own challenges
- Offer solutions to other members' challenges
- Build your Maker profile (projects, tool stack, and more...)
- Climb up the NCC leaderboard by earning karma points
๐ญ The vision for NoCode Club
An aspiration toward collective intelligence and knowledge. The no-code community is awesome and NCC is a tool to help the members of this community to keep on building and learning daily with like-minded people.
Would love to have you join the club and get your feedback and thoughts!
We strive to create more and more value for makers and we will do so thanks to you ๐ฅฐ
?makers great idea and very much needed!
On a side note: would suggest using separate builder for landing page vs app. Seems that the landing page is not responsive and you could use https://www.softr.io or similar products to quickly compose a responsive landing pages and then connect with bubble for the app.
Hey @arturmkrtchyan Thanks a lot!
You're right! Bubble responsiveness is bit difficult for me still. I have tried out softr and some other landing page builders and will dig more into that. Thanks for the tip!
โชLots asked for it and you went and built it! Great way to give back to other makers building a Stack Overflow for projects and showing what you can do during the 100 Days of No-Code challenge.
Have been using for a couple weeks and appreciate how responsive youโve been to feedback and making these little improvements. Plus Iโm a fan of the 80s inspired design ๐
Itโs now on my list for no-code resources! Well done Pierre and Laurent ๐
Thanks a lot @modernafflatus ! We had loads of fun building it and it was really a no-brainer! I love the no-code community and building something for it is enough motivation. We had to give back!
?makers good idea i just joined!
A few small improvement suggestions
1. the twitter sign up requires way too many permissions (probably a standard setting of twitter's API), I'd look at the twitter configuration to try and reduce them. I just signed up with email because I didn't want to give so much "power" to an external app on my twitter account
2. put a link to the privacy policy in the sign up form, it's standard/good practice
3. I don't understand why I had to tick a checkbox where I confirm that i want to help others on the platform when I filled up my profile.
Hey @giulio_maselli
Thanks a lot for the feedback!
For the Twitter sign up, I believe you're right and it is a standard setting. I will change that asap.
I came to same the same about Twitter permissions. I didn't end up signing up with Twitter because I don't want to give permissions to delete my tweets and update my profile settings.
Since this is an app intended for makers, I think signing up with GitHub would be another good option. Again I'd use it if it only asks for reading profile permissions.
