Flashback! Who's buying these?

Pros: - All of the nostalgia feels! - Old school button layout makes playing NES Classic games on Switch easier - Business model negates the resale market, meaning controllers will go directly to fans for retail price Cons: - Only compatible with retro NES games - A steep $59.99 price point (especially for those who bought a $59.99 NES classic with many of the same initial 20 games) - Ships in December Not Actually Cons*: - Only available with Switch Online subscription - Limited to one set per customer *Both points are moot as the controllers are only useful for Switch Online games and there no classic NES games require more than two controllers) I love the idea of using these classic controllers with the classic games on Switch. I've read that they are almost required to effectively play some games (due to the button layout on the stock Switch controllers being so different from the NES controllers). I also read that these controllers are only compatible with the classic NES games. Thus, the only way to get value out of the controllers is to maintain a Switch Online subscription for ongoing access to the Classics library. And since they are exclusive to Switch Online subscribers and only useful when subscribed to Switch Online, their resale value should be nil and we won't see them listed for $100+ on eBay and Amazon third party.
