Lately I've noticed the ubiquity of the selfie stick, and how touristy people look when they use them. They produce some great photos, but they bother other people so much that they have been banned from many public places. I personally always feel a bit stupid taking selfies in public, so I made this app that lets you take selfies in a much more subtle way. I've also noticed several bluetooth remotes for sale in retail stores and from my past work with face detection libraries, I knew I could make a software-only equivalent. Currently I'm working on adding other ways to trigger the camera, such as a voice activated shutter. Happy to answer any questions and would appreciate any feedback!
