Hey Product Hunt! 👋 Co-creator’s Phil & Patty here. We both have day jobs as Designers and Product Managers, but love to learn new things at night. We started Newsletter Stack because newsletters are a staple in our content and learning diets. However, we found it difficult to discover new and interesting newsletters! With Newsletter Stack we set out to answer 3 questions: If I want to learn about a topic, what newsletters should I follow? 🧠 ↳ At Newsletter Stack, we group newsletters by 56 learning topics so you can easily nurture your curiosity. What newsletters are people reading? 🤓 ↳ Information is rampant, curation is not. We believe humans we admire are a great way to filter great content. Every newsletter in this directory is thoroughly vetted and approved by newsletters lovers like you. Where can I find the best independent writers? ✍️ ↳ Although there's a place for manicured newsletters from major news outlets in our content diets, we wanted to discover more independent writers. 90%+ of our listed newsletters are from individuals with unfiltered and fresh takes about the world around them. This is v1 so we’re open to any and all feedback! Thank you in advance and enjoy!

@_patriciamou this is awesome thanks for building it. Looks like the marketing section has nothing and I would like to nominate my project https://www.producthunt.com/post... it was voted in the #1 product a few days ago.

Newsletter curation and discovery is one of the biggest problems facing readers and writers, and Newsletter Stack is the best solution I’ve seen. Plus, it’s just beautiful.
Phil Hedayatnia
@packym Thanks so much Packy! Happy to feature you on the site :)

Who are these heroes who have salvaged the former glory of my inbox!! Mad props to this team for putting together something rad! Some random inspiration as I was surfing: - I would love to see the UX evolve into a stylish and simplified card or gamified environment to balance out how text heavy newsletters are; this is a place people can spend a lot of time researching, and that type of system would make your analytics suite arguably one of the coolest marketing and academic data sets like, ever? 🤤 - The chatbot could be a really useful data collection and curation tool in and of itself; if users are able to submit newsletters, review them, and get recommendations for them as time goes on, this could really easily grow into a paid membership tier of a really cool publication and arguably, fundamentally invaluable repository of human knowledge and intellectual labor that represents newsletters - a feat worthy of celebration 🎉
Phil Hedayatnia
@nidanizam WOW Nida this made my day. Thanks for the support. We're playing around with more page design changes so the ideas are appreciated :)

We were working on a very similar product, but you've done a great job with your solution! :) congrats!

Congratulation @_patriciamou, this looks like a very interesting product. Newsletter curation is a big problem, I hope this solves it. I wanted to ask if you yourself locate and hunt for fresh independent writers?
Nick Allen
Great product, found a few great new newsletters I wasn't aware of. Would be awesome to have the ability to bulk subscribe to multiple newsletters, and/or stay on the browse page after you click out to view a newsletter. But overall super useful tool, amazing work!
Phil Hedayatnia
@nick_allen8 thanks for the suggestion! def subscribe for updates -- we might have something in the works :)
Keith Lynn
Nice work. I've been looking at the best-curated stacks and stashes this past while—this is up there. Great work.

@rightlung thanks Victor!
Tal Raviv
Love this. I stopped checking twitter and getting news from algorithms and now exclusively get it from signing up for curated newsletters… so much happier with life.
Patricia
@talraviv same here 100%. There's nothing like the human filter. Thanks for your support!
Phil Hedayatnia
@talraviv SAME. It's so much better!
Mankaran Ahluwalia
yo this is amazing, congratulations! curious what criteria do you use to select the curators for a particular topic
Patricia
@themankaran thanks for the question! We looked for people who either had their own newsletter, had interesting tastes, and/or were very well read in newsletters - meaning they consumed newsletters for 50%+ of their information diet.
Jean-Luc Winkler
great idea! I just got some great hints to new newsletters to subscribe to! I haven't seen much on no-code topics so I just applied to become a curator for this topic and suggested my first top picks. Let me know, if I can help you out with this and I will be happy to contribute! :-)
Jazear Brooks
This is an outstanding product, easily one of the top 5 I've used all year. The designers clearly thought through the use cases from multiple aspects and delivered a streamlined experience that's sure to become a must-use for anyone engaged in the passion economy.
Phil Hedayatnia
@jazear Thanks Jazear! Really appreciate it :)

Phil! this is AWESOME! As a newsletter junkie and former newsletter founder, this fills a huge gap in a growing market. Pumped for this!!!

Steven Miller
This is one of the best things I've seen on PH recently. Congrats to @_patriciamou and @philhedayatnia on this launch!
Phil Hedayatnia
@_patriciamou @steven_miller3 Appreciate it man :)

Once I click into a newsletter, I'd love to see more detail about that newsletter beyond the blurb. Sell me on it. Why do people love it? Why do YOU love it? Perhaps a screenshot, or links to the top 3 releases from that newsletter? I'm familiar with many of the newsletters you've shared, but their landing pages don't do the publication justice. For example, this is just a blurb: https://newsletterstack.com/news...
Tim Finnigan
Cool! I made something similar recently - https://newsletters.best/ - but yours is way better. Nice work!
