Love NewsBang! My day actually starts with that during last couple days and I'm going to continue. What I'm missing is a bit more insights on startup world level.
Seems like a very exciting application indeed, I couldn't agree more...We can't go 1 minute without being bombarded by new articles & breaking news etc.
Plus the length of each of the stories is so that we're unable to absorb all of the info - I love the idea behind it, is there any chance of the AI hallucinating & forming biased opinions when we ask it about an article?

We are committed to continuously providing unbiased information and viewpoints, and this will be a core strategic function of our product. While the current version may not be perfect, we are striving to improve through the following approaches:
1. Continuous Model Enhancement: We are refining our models to better recognize and generate neutral information. The self-trained models we currently use, "Homer-72B" and "Homer-7B," have previously ranked first in their respective scales on the OpenLLM LeaderBoard v2. We will continue optimizing these models for better performance.
2. Expanding and Cross-Referencing Sources: Building on reliable sources, we aim to expand our source base and perform cross-referencing to ensure the quality and objectivity of the data we present.
3. Future Features: We may explore providing users with insights into the perspectives and context behind certain viewpoints, helping them form a more complete understanding and make better personal judgments. (Of course, we will actively listen to user feedback and conduct further research to refine this process!)

Additionally, our AI models are trained to filter out unreliable content by cross-referencing multiple credible sources and flagging potential inaccuracies. Congrats on the launch! 🚀 I think it is a great idea, and you also have my kudos on the app design, I think it looks pretty lean and smooth. On the other hand, I'd be concerned about the bias of the information (it is one of the biggest problems we have nowadays >.<).
I love that you show the sources of the news in the UI, I think it is a great idea, but at the same time I also see social media platforms as news sources, where there are channels and users very biased when they publish content. Do you have some specific "unbiased" channels to retrieve the news information or do you use anyone?
In any case, I'll give it a try :) Keep up the good work!

We often find ourselves caught in a filter bubble when browsing the news, where it feels like all the headlines are about negative events or very serious topics. That’s why we thought, why not bring this feature into our product? Perhaps, like us, users sometimes want to see lighter, more enjoyable, or objectively neutral content.

How do you make sure there are no hallucinations tho? This will be particularly important given that its a news app

This is really well done!
One thing to note, when I followed the QR code, it took me to a mobile page with a button for the Google Play Store (which is correct, I'm on Android), but when I clicked the Play Store button it took me to the Apple App Store page. Other than that small hiccup, this is an incredible product!

Luckily on Android I could use this app for free (maybe for a limited time). It only supports Eng and simplified Chinese, and I hope it could support more languages soon. The AI generated podcast is a blast, though the way the hosts are interacting is still less natural than notebooklm, but already good enough for me! Really saves me loads of time from reading various sources of news. I hope you could make it succeed so I can keep on enjoying my good time on the way work ❤️

Good: A lot of potential. Simple and snappy UI.
Bad: Too US centric. News genre needs polishing. Political news in top of Science and Technology. Ranking/reranking algorithm need to further improved.
Interesting: Nice question generation feature (first/unique in market?). Predictions are interesting to read.
Ugly: Copyright issues. Hallucinations.
