Hey all! 👋 I’m Haikal, a medical student and editorial manager at Ness Labs. Two years ago, I discovered Roam, and today couldn’t imagine managing my studies and my work without it. Since then, there’s been a renaissance of Tools for Thought – apps to improve your productivity, your creativity and your thinking – but it’s become hard to decide which tool to use, and how to safely transfer your notes if you decide to switch between two tools. That’s why I created Switchboard, the most comprehensive collection of tutorials for you to safely make the switch from a Tool for Thought to another! 🥳 Inside each Switchboard tutorial, you’ll find: • Why you may want to switch to the new tool • The reasons why you may be better off sticking to your current tool (shiny toy syndrome!) • If you do decide to make the switch, how to safely export your notes from one tool to another • Tips to quickly get used to your new Tool for Thought Thanks to @anthilemoon for the support over the past few months while I was working on this project. I love this idea! You never know what it's going to look like to migrate to tools, and as one who often loves to try new tools, I experience this a lot 😂 What's the process for adding a switching guide? Ie, if i create one about switching from Trello to Jira or something like that? I saw there's a contact form, but what happens after that?
