Hey folks! So, after diving into Discord and Slack, I found myself totally hooked on their emoji setup. Seriously, it just clicked with my workflow. But, trying to use other emoji pickers, like the one native to Windows, was a Major distraction.
So, I thought, why not create an extension that works just like I'm used to, but anywhere on the web? And voilร , NeatEmoji was born!
With NeatEmoji you can just type :smile: and get ๐ Anywhere!
While, you can also use its emoji picker as well to copy any emoji you may need.
What's the secret sauce? Well, it's got some slick AI features that make emoji hunting a breeze. No more endless scrolling to find that perfect emoji ๐ .
I'm stoked to share the next version will include keybindings, the ability to ignore specific sites, and even ignore certain inputs.

Very cool extension! I liked it because it's a bit annoying to have to look for the right emojis, especially if you message a lot and use emojis all the time. ๐

@eduarda_cardoso Thank you so much! That's exactly why I created NeatEmoji, too much time spent googling "X emoji", going to the first result, waiting to load and then copy & paste ๐
. Now its so much smoother for me, especially after adding the AI, I never searched for an emoji again!
Seems really cool is there a help key for referencing emojis when typing? Anyways congrats on launch!

@benjamin_sloutsky Thank you! By the time you type ":" and a letter afterwards in any input the 5 most relevant emojis appear above the input as a search! Of course, the extension's popup window contains a search and all emoji categories as well!
