This is something I nearly impulse-bought until I saw the price tag - $279 seems a bit steep for me, at this point. One problem I have that something like this could solve is that I always wish I was filming something - but only after it happens. If this was constantly recording video, and say only keeping the last ~2 mins in memory, then with one tap I could have the previous ~2mins of video saved to permanent storage for review later. (The ongoing buffer of video could be continuously deleted).
