So enjoy it, and let us know your feedback. 📢
@dmitry_nilsen Hey there, NANI team! Love the concept of turning any smartphone into a baby monitor, super convenient for busy parents. How's the battery life on the baby's device?
Hi @yura_turivny, I am one of the developers of this app, and we employ various mechanisms to minimize battery consumption. For instance, when the device remains idle for a brief period, we halt the rendering of the camera view on the baby's device and display a dark screensaver instead. This approach significantly reduces battery usage.
Nevertheless, you must keep in mind that any app streaming video from the camera and sound from the microphone will consume the battery, comparable to watching YouTube on the device or even more. Therefore, if you need to monitor your baby for extended periods, such as throughout the entire night, it would be prudent to keep the phone connected to a power supply.
Yess. I already have two monitors (Nanit and Euphy) but I love this for when we're traveling and something is forgotten or not working. I bet a lot of parents run into that issue.
Kudos on launching a versatile and practical baby monitor solution with the NANI App!
To enhance user trust, ensure robust security measures are in place for data transmission. Also, consider adding more features like temperature monitoring or sleep analysis.
I find it challenging when I don't know when my child will wake up, whether I'm just sitting in the bedroom or not noticing their crying while doing chores. Congratulations on addressing such a real issue.
