Hello, Product Hunt! We're back with an exciting launch we've been working on over the past few weeks! n8n's mission is to give everyone who uses a computer technical superpowers. It's no secret that AI will revolutionize both our personal and professional lives. Today, we're thrilled to unveil a major step forward: n8n's LangChain integration. We've observed that AI is making headway, particularly in professional contexts. However, large language models can sometimes yield inaccurate or context-deficient outputs or even "hallucinate." This points to an increasing need for AI-powered apps that work over controlled data sets to improve the accuracy and efficiency of AI applications. Our decision to integrate with LangChain was driven by community demand and its alignment with n8n's philosophy of modular building blocks and swappable components. This integration speeds up LLM app building in a low-code environment while maintaining the flexibility and customization that n8n is known for. Enhanced by straightforward deployment features like our new chat widget, you can now build comprehensive AI-powered apps with automated workflows quicker than ever. We're excited to explore the multitude of potential use cases this opens up and can't wait to see what the community will develop with this new integration. It has been a lot of fun helping with this one and I can’t wait to see what the community creates 🎉 One of the things I have started on is a chat bot to let me interact with my home-lab hosts, I am fairly sure it won’t be long until I am setting up local n8n instances for testing using an n8n workflow with LangChain.

I've had the opportunity to try the alpha of this feature (I work at n8n) and have not been this excited about a feature for a while! My aha moment was when it took me ~15 seconds to give ChatGPT all the knowledge of wikipedia; something that would have had me banging my head against the wall if I tried to do this natively in code. Will definitely be using this one in my free time!

Very neat--congrats n8n team! excited to try this for a RAG use case. - Is Cloudflare r2 supported as a data source? - Curious to hear how you're thinking about observability in scope of LangChain and LLM apps in general.

@farrukh_jadoon1 Thanks, great to hear! - No Cloudflare r2 is currently sadly not supported nativly. In case LangChain already supports it you can probably add support yourself with a few lines of code via the LangChain code node - Regarding observability. We added the Logs tab into n8n which is a first attempt to make it clearer and easier to understand what is happening. But as mentioned is only a first step and hope we can improve that much more moving forward.
