I'm surprised this hadn't been hunted till now, but with free worldwide shipping offered till the end of this week, I figured it was as good a time as any to post it! Thalmic's Myo armband is a cool piece of tech whose snug fit reads your muscle contractions to provide gesture-based controls. Playing with it kind of made me feel kinda like a Jedi knight. They've got a dev kit as well that is open for developers to build on top of the tech so it'll be really cool to see what people come up with.
