WhatTheFont uses Artificial intelligence to identify fonts in a design. Great for designers, crafters and anyone who loves typography. Perfect for when you see a great design and want to identify the fonts, or when your client sends you an image but doesn't know what fonts were used.
It's a good tool if you want to pay for your fonts, but doesn't really show you the free matches
Pros:Good and accurate scan of photos
Cons:Mostly tries to recommnd fonts that are on sale on myfonts.com, and doesn't always give you the free recommendations
I used this product multiple times, until I gave up. It doesnt matter what Font you scan, it will always show you some weird font that costs over 50 Dollars, and is on special Sale today. I cant watch in the backend, but I feel like they are cooperating with the font market in order to get shares.
You can try everything, it will always find a font that costs a lot of money and is on sale currently. So definitely no use in this.
Pros:You can get an bare idea what font they are using
Cons:Fonts are often not recognized, and I as a user feel tricked
Example; Printed out our company name in Gilbert Sans MT Condensed - an installed font for Windows since ..... App suggested Lomo Wall chart Std 52, which is nothing like.
Pros:It's a great idea and simple to use
Cons:Could not identify even Windows fonts correctly. Not even close.
I love this app
Pros:I found about font in any image
Cons:Perfect app so no cons
