Hey PH! So happy to be sharing early-access to Muddy with the community today. Muddy is a unified workspace that supports every app. Two years ago, I realized how chaotic working together online was. So much time was wasted digging links out of chat logs or bothering teammates for files. Apps are awesome (and like folks here, I love trying new ones) but I couldn’t shake the feeling that they were causing me a lot of stress. Of course, I quickly realized that the problem wasn’t our apps. The web browser we use hasn’t changed for over twenty years — back when the web was mostly digital yellow pages. We do almost all our work online now and collaborate on everything. We needed something designed for this purpose! Muddy is a new kind of workspace with apps (we support any website!), conversations, and people in one place. Congrats on the launch, Jimmy and team! Muddy looks fantastic. How does the AI handle different team roles and tailor the workspace for specific tasks like design or sales?

It is the joy of a lifetime for our crew (hat tip to @andy_alimbuyuguen, @xbalbinus, and @ana_piligrim) to support the Muddy Launch. I believe their product sits in one of the most interesting domains in software, and their goals are meaningfully ambitious. I am impressed by how much they have achieved with their team; I am actually pretty blown away. Jimmy Liu and Ron Bhattacharyay are one-of-a-kind founders in all the right ways, and I see the hard work their collaborators/core-team (shout out to Austa Jiang and others) put in. I am confident that each day they are getting closer and closer to solving a very significant problem that countless teams face. I also feel they are right; the web browser hasn't changed much. Combining the web browser, large language models, and the workspace to explore potential innovations is a brilliant idea. I can't wait to see what comes next.

Hi, I'm evaluating your nice product! Just one caveat, under Windows, Trendmicro identifies Muddy as a potential ransomware, you might have to be a trusted issuer or whatever from Microsoft's point of view to avoid trouble. Apart from that, seems very nice.

Just found Muddy on Product Hunt and it sounds ideal for my team in our SaaS company! Having a unified workspace would make collaborating on projects so much easier. Can't wait to give it a try! 💪

I’ve been testing Muddy since Nov. 2023 and its predecessors long before that. It’s amazing to see both how polished the product is and how intuitive it has been. The challenge for team based products is that there is a collective learning curve across an organization. The best part about Muddy is that the powerful AI features provide the context needed for on boarding extremely intuitively within the workflow itself. I hate Slack with a passion. With this I get the same asynchronous communication ability without the BS. Excited to see where the product grows from here.
