Hello! We're happy to announce that we've released the first stable version of mosparo, v1.0. In the last months since the launch of our first version, we've added many new features, made some changes to the project, and, of course, fixed many bugs. With the new version, v1.0, we're happy to end the public beta phase of mosparo. mosparo is now production-ready. 🎞 We’ve also produced a short video to explain the benefits of mosparo (see the YouTube video attached to the launch). We want to provide you with a summary of the changes since the first launch: ✨ Invisible mode (with v1.0) With version 1.0, we've introduced an additional invisible mode, where no mosparo box is visible in the form. The form will be validated as soon as the user wants to submit the form. With this, the user can save one click, and the usage of mosparo is more straightforward. ✨ New project wizard (with v0.4) With the new project wizard, creating a new project in mosparo is easier. After the project is created, the wizard will help to design, configure, and connect the mosparo project. ✨ Simple design mode (with v0.4) With the new simple design mode, it needs only three colors to design the mosparo box. The advanced mode is available for all users with more advanced requirements. ✨ Import and export (with v1.0) A new import and export functionality was added to mosparo with v1.0. With this functionality, it is possible to export a project's settings and import them into a different project. Or you can backup the settings before you try some changes. ✨ Rule tester (with v1.0) We've also introduced a rule tester, with which you can test how your rules react to the content someone enters in the form. With this functionality, you can test how your rules react before you receive your next submission. ✨ Redesign and interface optimization (with v0.4 and v1.0) We've added the dark theme to the interface. Every user can choose between the light and the dark theme. The administrator of a mosparo installation can define the standard theme. Since the illustration didn't look good with the dark theme, we've replaced all illustrations with new ones. We've also redesigned other areas of the software, like the project list, the project dashboard, and the ruleset pages. ✨ Minimum Required PHP Version (with v0.4) With this new major version, we've increased the minimum required version of PHP to 8.1.10. When we started developing mosparo, 7.4 was widely used. But now, after two years, 7.4 is no longer supported, so the change to 8.1.10 was required. ✨ Additional translations Thanks to our contributors, we've increased the number of available translations for the frontend box to 28. For the backend, we've received the complete translations for Czech, Indonesian, and partial translations for French, Ukrainian, Vietnamese, Italian, and Chinese (Simplified). ✨ Bug fixes and smaller enhancements In the last months, we've also fixed many bugs and made multiple enhancements.
