Hi! Minihero is my debut product after learning the basics of full stack web dev a few months back. I've been a product designer for many years, and decided to take the plunge. My inspiration for Minihero came about after I tried volunteering at a few local organisations. I found the signup process at these places like something out of the 80s — lots of forms to fill out, induction programs with people doing Powerpoint presentations and so on. Then I started traveling around the world and never quite found the time to do some volunteering. Partly, due to my own laziness and partly due to the endless bureaucratic hurdles which only get harder when you travel. I thought "there's gotta be a better way" so I looked online for an app to make volunteering easy. I didn't find anything that came close to my expectations.
