Hi PH community 👋 I'm excited to announce a major update to our product's AI Assistant. Before that, let me summarize briefly how we improved the AI Assistant from its first launch, and how we crafted it for those who want a super-simple and fast way to create micro-learning materials. ⛵ The Story Begins (09/2021): The idea behind Mini Course Generator was simple: conventional LMS products are great for video-based macro-course sellers yet they are very complex and cumbersome for those who want to create micro-learning materials for different purposes, like showing authority and expertise about a topic by using short educational content as educational lead magnets. We thought there should be a super-simple way to create interactive mini-courses with less time & mental energy, which led us to launch the first version of MCG. 🛳 AI-Assistant joins (12/2021):** To make things even faster and to prevent procrastination when building a mini-course, we added AI-Assistant. It worked like this: you add your subject up to 80 characters, and it brings the content divided into the content cards, including questions. After talking with our customers, we realized that the output's performance is not always satisfactory (or let's say not in the way intended). The main shortcoming was trying to bring comprehensive content with a minimal amount of guidance. 🚤 AI-Assistant v2 comes (09/2022): We realized that the missing piece was more guidance for getting more precise and sharp content. We added the AI-Assistant to each card structure, where content creators begin with 2-3 introductory sentences, and the AI completes the rest. This approach works great with high precision and is still in use. However, we regularly received requests for an entire AI-generated mini-course instead of only completing the content in the cards. 🛥 We launched AI-Assistant v3 (Today): Writing a subject was insufficient to create a satisfactory, sharp, complete mini-course. Guiding the AI for high precision within each card requires more time to complete a mini-course. Blending the consequences of these two implementations, we thought there should be something in the middle - a trade-off between a little more guidance and getting highly-precise content. This implementation is why we are here today. With this launch, we are happy to show you the new version, in which there is a need for a bit more guidance from the creator, such as their profession, target audience, and the description of mini-course idea. Then we sequentially offer a title and outline with AI-Assistant, which can be easily moderated. Once the creator concludes the outline, AI-Assistant brings the highly accurate and to-the-point mini-course, which the creator intends to get contextually. All of these make Mini Course Generator the only AI solution specialized in bringing out an accurate, comprehensive, and complete mini-course with the supervision of the creator in each critical step. (a.k.a. check-points) Once you get your AI-generated mini-course, you can easily make revisions, enrich it with media and questions, use special functional content cards, and share it with your community immediately through either a link, embedding on a webpage, or exporting it in a pdf format that is tailored for sharing in LinkedIn in a carousel format (to be launched on 20th of March). We are more than excited to hear your feedback and experience. Even the free version has free AI-credits, and you can immediately get a mini-course in your expertise domain, edit it in the way you prefer, and share it with your community. You can do all of them with the free plan and without entering credit card details. @denis_galka Hi Denis! If you describe your mini-course idea detailed enough, and set the final version of the outline coherent with your needs, I'm 100% sure that you'll like the content quality. AI can be a bit tricky sometimes, but when you adjust your input accordingly, you get what you want. This is true in our case as well! About customization, you are free to change the background, font, and other themes related stuff, you can add custom domains to your share links and you can also customize the end of your mini-course depending on the knowledge level of your audience. AI-Assistant asks for the creator's profession, target audience, and the description of the mini-course idea to bring an highly-accurate content. Afterwards, AI-Assistant brings suggestions for title and outline. These works as check-points as well. Such a dance between the creator and AI-Assistant results with high-accurate content. Since the course creator industry is right up in my alley, I was super excited to use this product, and boom! @alexey_yar Hi Alexey! Thanks a lot for the great question. Actually we do not have any limits for the length of the course. It can be as long as the creator wants. This can be adjusted in the outline step and our AI Assistant will work anyways. The term "mini" is actually to indicate that our tool is specialized on micro-learning content creation. We differ in a lot of ways from macro course builders (LMS platforms) Some of these differences include content creation without complex modules and no login barrier from the end-user site.
