Fair old set of improvements to Meteor in their latest release. Most notable is that they seem to be moving away from their own package system and embracing npm.
The general feeling I get is that they’ve demystified Meteor a bit - it seems closer to the rest of the javascript world. I guess that’ll please some but one of the biggest selling points when I first started with Meteor was that it handled all the choices/setup for me and let me focus on building stuff.
To that end they’ve now got a Meteor Guide (http://guide.meteor.com/) so perhaps everyone will be happy…!?
