Hi all,
My grandparents passed away when I was young, so I only have vague memories of the stories they used to tell me about their life. I missed the opportunity to learn about their experiences, the things they had to go through, and the wisdom they accrued throughout their lifetime. I recently discovered this lady in New Zealand that sits down and interviews people's family members in the later stages of their life and writes a memoir based on their stories. She sends it to the family when she is done with the book. I realized that I would have loved to have had something like that from my grandparents to look through with my parents and siblings.
That's why some freinds and I decided to start building a software service that helps you capture the memories of your loved ones. This lets you create memoirs for your relatives and get them as a physical book. We are figuring out if this is something anyone would be interested in.

We actually just added a link in the top menu where you can try our Proof of Concept. I will warn you, it is very crude, and we need to do a lot of work to improve the prompts, and questions and tweak the AI's output. We have just been focused on validating and getting a working prototype.
