Mapbox launched V2 of their GLJS map renderer. Enabling developers to build 3D map experiences in 60fps for your browser. Fully interactive, blazing fast, and completely customizable.
Every time I see Mapbox mentioned anywhere the same question comes to my mind:
Why Mapbox does not have any app or website that can be used as a demo of the map services that they offer?
Yes, developers can play around with features relatively easily, but for many users out there the only option to see how these 3D maps of their home location (or search, or navigation, or anything) is to hire a developer.
It is relatively easy to check out different map styles for vector maps, but Mapbox is definitely much more than that, and many great map based apps and web sites that could have used the Mapbox technology have not been created because people who could have created them are not really aware of what's possible.
