Manta — Flexible invoicing app with customizable templates (Freebie)
Manta is a flexible invoicing desktop app that allows you to quickly make beautiful invoices without the need of using design software like Photoshop, InDesign or Sketch. It's geared toward people who need to make invoices from time to time such as freelance designers, developers, photographers or writers ... etc. No Internet, monthly fee required!

@michaelfolling Thanks, Michael. I’m actually thinking about doing a write up about this as the benefits are multifold. It made me feel good about myself and may also help activists like OPS as well. Manta is a magical creature, I ended up with a perfect name and logo/icon for the app. So everyone wins! I really hope this could become a trend for developers.

Are you able to export your customised template and previous invoiced data to be used on another device?

Hey everyone,
Just wanted to let you know that the new version of Manta - v1.1 is out. You can download it here: https://github.com/hql287/Manta/....
This update comes with lots of bug fixes and some new features such as allow using decimal prices for items, better Invoices layout, custom status for your invoices, better tax handling and more date format to choose from... It also has better support for Windows/Linux users.
From now on, there will be a new minor release every week and Manta will check it for you automatically.

@lqh88 tried it, I like it, will use for sending quotations to my clients after that's implemented. Was thinking about some notification to donate or something like that after 10 invoices or so. What do you think?
@shimetweets Hey, sorry I missed this. I'm not really sure about this idea because it reminds me of the rating popups in iOS. And to be honest, if I were the user I wouldn't like it very much haha. But donation is a great idea. I've seen a lot of people do it on their GitHub repos. Thanks for the suggestion! :)

@lqh88 Yeah, the least you can do is adding a button on a Github repo. I would also add some smooth notification on top of the window reminding users to donate if they regularly use it.
