Makr.io is a collection of 15 web apps built by one person in just 30 days using Claude.ai & ChatGPT. Each app tackles a unique problem and is fully open-source, inviting you to explore, adapt, or build upon them. See what one person & AI can create together!

Hi, Product Hunt! 👋 I’m thrilled to share Makr.io, my open-source challenge where I built 15 web apps in 30 days—by myself, with a little help from AI! I’m a self-taught developer and product manager, and this challenge was my way of scratching that “I need to code and build” itch. I’ve always loved mobile apps, but I’ve recently fallen more for Next.js web apps—especially with tools like Claude.ai and ChatGPT. Using Claude to generate Python scripts for project setup and boilerplate code made the development process much smoother and faster, letting me focus on the unique features of each app. It all started with svg2png, a quick tool I made in 45 minutes to solve my own problem: converting SVG output from Claude into PNGs. (Fun fact: I accidentally made it more polished by asking for "better design" multiple times when I couldn’t set up Tailwind properly. 😅) That project lit the spark, and I set out to create 15 utility apps that are: * Mobile-friendly, fast, and functional * SEO-optimized and (mostly) dark/light theme-supported * Scoped to deliver real value in just 2-3 hours of work Some highlights: * 📰 Hacker News Reader: A dynamic, SEO-friendly project that taught me so much about optimizing web apps. * 🎨 Color Picker Tool: People have started using and sharing it organically—so rewarding! * ⏳ Countdown Site: My final project, inspired by the birth of my little one. Through this journey, I embraced the collapsing product team idea: using AI to blur the lines between PM, design, and engineering. I hope this inspires others (especially PMs and designers) to leverage AI and learn coding fundamentals to build their own ideas. This is just the beginning for tools like Claude and Cursor, and I’m excited to keep experimenting. Thanks for checking out my work—I’d love to hear your thoughts, questions, or favorite apps!
