@bentossell@rrhoover need to add GoDaddy to that. Their GoCentral website builder is the easiest I have come across.. way simpler than wordpress. Shopify too comes close. But if I had to pick one I'd pick GoDaddy.
@bentossell@yfzhe@rrhoover I like Coda because that's the only one I know from the list (due to the Makers Festival, lol π). I donβt know about the others, but this one is Turing-complete, allowing to build crazy stuff with it β like this game of snake! π€―π

@bentossell@rrhoover@yfzhe coming from someone that has no code experience, I found it very tough to use coda.. attempted it for the Makers Festival but found is way too cumbersome.
@_jacksmith cheers. yeah at the moment I'm trying to figure out what kind of marketplace it should be. Whether it should show hourly rates and people can just directly contact. Or if it should be more of a Crew/Gigster style marketplace
Hey folks, not done a launch here for a while! Makerpad is the best platform for no-coders (biased I know).
There are a ton of things you can do on the site: view tutorials, use templates, browse the best tools, see what jobs are on offer and the latest addition: Hire an expert
I've toyed with it before but it was time for me to build and release this properly. If you use Zapier, Airtable, Webflow, Glide, Squarespace, WordPress and a load more tools, here you can find someone to help you out.
There's a ton more I could build into this like payments, scheduling, messaging, more filters (Webflow limits my options here a bit) etc but focusing on the MVP first.
Let me know your feedback

IMO the best marketing stunt any company can do is building a small concept online designed to be easily shared. Hiring someone experienced is the best decision to ship faster. Congrats @bentossell!! π
I'm signing up! This is really actually necessary. I even overhear technical people all the time talking about struggling with setting up all of these integrations so it is a specific skill set.
ALSO... I'm putting together a No Code Hackathon this summer at Betaworks in NYC. Please message me if you want to be a part of it (either fellow host or as an attendee).
