Hi Product Hunt!
My name is Neo and along with my co-founder Alex, we’re excited to show you Makeasite.
Makeasite is a website you can use to create websites with just prompts. When you’re done, you can easily share it with one click.
Why did we build this?
1. We want to simplify and make web development more accessible for non-coders. Traditional web development can be really overwhelming for people learning to code, and there’s a lot of things to setup and maintain! We can automate and simplify this for the end user.
2. We want to speed up the creation of MVPs. The best way to see if an idea works is to put it out into the world. We ultimately want to help people bring their ideas to life in minutes.
3. We want to improve the current state of website builders. With AI models rapidly improving, we think it will be possible to build even more complex websites than what can currently be made with no code. Although we're not there yet, we think the possibilities are exciting.
The website is now available on https://makeasite.io. We're super excited for you try it out and hear what you think.
We always welcome any feedback or questions you might have! You can reach out to us here: https://discord.com/invite/sNNrr...

@n3onlights honestly this looks fun, will give it a try as this is something helps me out as a not-techie. One query which now I have is when you're looking to build the heavy features like blog, CMS etc?
Once these things are in place it will explore like anything. Kudos again
@n3onlights@pradhumn_vijayvargiya Thanks for the feedback! Right now, we haven't focused on making this a blog or CMS builder, but if more people are interested that could be a direction we pursue!
Makeasite sounds like a fantastic tool for simplifying web development, especially for those without coding experience! The ability to create websites with just prompts is a huge step forward in accessibility, and I love the focus on speeding up MVP creation—getting ideas out into the world quickly is so important for startups and creators.
I’m really curious about how it handles more complex websites. Has anyone given it a try yet? I’d love to hear how well it works for different use cases and how intuitive the AI-driven process feels!
👏 Fantastic job on Makeasite! Transforming ideas into websites with ease and sharing them instantly is revolutionary. What features do you think will be most popular among users looking to build and test their ideas quickly?
@andreea_staicu Not sure yet, that's why we wanted to launch! But in the coming days we'll be talking to the people who made sites, and hopefully we'll start to see what's most popular
Huge congratulations, @n3onlights and @reyesal_! Makeasite is a game-changer for rapid MVP development. The prompt-based approach is genius. Can you share more about the AI's learning curve—does it improve based on user feedback and interactions? Excited to see this tool grow!
Hey Neo,
I'm curious about the level of customization available after the initial prompt-based generation. Can users make manual edits or adjustments to the AI-generated site?
How does Makeasite handle more complex site structures or specific design requirements that might be difficult to convey in a prompt?
It would be great to know what types of websites work best with your current system.
Congrats on the launch!
@kyrylosilin Yup you can make manual code edits. Also, for more complex site structures one idea we have is to add image upload support (coming soon!)
In terms of what works best, it's currently simple static sites. But I recommend trying it, and maybe you'll find new things that work best!
Makeasite is a fantastic tool for simplifying web development, making it accessible to non-coders! I’m curious—will future updates allow for more advanced customization options, such as integrating external APIs or adding interactive elements to the generated websites?
@annaho2000 Yeah you can have interactive elements! External APIs *do* work but right now you'd need to be careful to keep the keys secret. We're working on adding server side support so you can create full stack sites pretty soon!
Absolutely amazing, Neo & Alex! 🌟 Makeasite is a fantastic innovation that's set to make web development a breeze for everyone, especially non-coders. It's thrilling to see a tool that not only simplifies the entire process but also accelerates the creation of MVPs, empowering more people to bring their ideas to life quickly. The potential for creating complex websites with AI is incredibly exciting, and I can't wait to see where Makeasite goes from here. Kudos to the team for building such an accessible and powerful tool! 🚀🙌 #Upvoted @n3onlights
Congrats Neo & Alex! Makeasite sounds super handy for non-coders like me. Love how you guys are making it easy to whip up a site just with prompts. And really excited about the potential of AI for even more complex sites in the future. Awesome work.
Amazing work with the app, @n3onlights! The interface is so user-friendly, and I love the thought put into the design. I’m excited to see how this becomes part of my regular workflow. I’ll be sharing it with my friends and happy to stay in touch on LinkedIn!
@n3onlights hey. I really love this concept and Makeasite looks like exactly what I need. Thank you
One quick question is does this tool require users have coding ability?
Cuz I'm a non-coder but wanna make a website, I'd like to know whether that would be one potenital blocker for me to use it.
@davidcarter Hey David! No you don't need to know how to code, you can make changes via the prompts! Let me know if you run into any problems and I'm down to setup a call!
@poppy_stewart Thanks Poppy. We give all generated code back to the user so you can customize it to your liking. You can also choose to keep customizing via prompting. We have some experiments we're running to make customizations even easier so stay tuned for that!
