๐ Hey everyone!
We're thrilled to be launching Magic Flow here on Product Hunt!
๐ค Problem
Sound clichรฉ but we built this to scratch our itch, failing to write good web copy multiple times. We either had to settle with the sub-standard copy we wrote ourselves (hey we are not copywriters) or pay someone else to do it for us.
Wish there was a magical product that did it for us, quick, easy, and cost-effective. And thatโs why we built Magic Flow.

@samanyou_garg definitely a cool product. A question on discount code: If I sign up for $29 plan with that discount code but later want to move up to $99 plan, would that 50% discount be still be applicable?
Nice, I tried out the landing pages part. While I dread the day GPT-3 is spitting out LinkedIn content for people (at scale) this looks promising.
Feeling in a feedback mood today so...
The good:
- A great starting point.
- Notwithstanding the below comments, it generates copy that's way better than most landing pages I see
- 5 variations = plenty to play with
The not so good:
- Based on what I got, I wouldn't use the results without editing heavily. But perhaps that's the idea? To give people a strong base to work from. What I mean here is some parts sounded awkward and cliched. And at least for now, I suspect GPT-3 is gonna have that problem, isn't it! No doubt, not just a GPT-3 challenge :D and of course the text I input may have been a factor ๐
Parts I'm not sure about:
1. To the above point, with a product like this, the quality of results people get is going to be highly dependant on what they feed-in on the product/service description etc. And so many struggle with the actual value prop part. I'm not saying you should go near that problem but getting at how you position your own product here. That's key, including setting expectations on the extent to which someone is gonna get something they can use immediately. All very subjective.
2. There's is quite a bit of friction in the sign-up process, more steps than I expected (even for a Product Hunt launch). Understandably that might be a deliberate decision as it means you're initial users will be ones with the most pain here.
Small things:
1. It wasn't immediately obvious how to cycle through the 5 variations. I missed the button for it, and found myself reading the part you were asking me to rate the 5 variations at the bottom of the page and was like "where are they". :D
2. How come there's a "Note: replies to this email address are not monitored." on the email you send from "contact@..." as part of the sign-up? Sure, "no-reply" inboxes are a common practice, but in general, it's hard to make sense of that practice when you consider how much companies spend on trying to get customer feedback.
Overall, it's awesome to see these uses of GPT-3. Exciting product!
@lynnastyie Thank you very much for your detailed feedback and suggestions Keith!
Yes, we aren't aiming for 100% machine driven content anyway. We are providing an assistant that will help users in brainstorming ideas and then they can refine it further.
Totally agree with all your points.
1. Quality of the results is very much dependent on the input.
2. Do you mind elaborating a bit on the signup process part.
Regarding your other points:
1. Will make it more clearer to the users about the 5 variations.
2. that's a fair point. Will remove that line from our verification email.
Once again, thank you very much for taking the time to provide such valuable feedback.
If you send me an email at sam@magicworks.io, mentioning this conversation, I will be happy to send you some extra credits as a thank you from our side.
You have a non-secure page in your signup funnel that might be costing you a lot of signups, though it is quite possible hungry users will ignore the warning in Chrome.
I've come across a bunch of AI writing assistants lately. This one seems to be high quality.
?makers - Is this product intended more for writers, who are experimenting with changes in their process, or folks who don't have a writing background?
I used this for the first time a couple of weeks ago to generate landing page text. The results are genuinely impressive. Excited to see more content types being added.
This is a very useful product for designers like me and tech enthusiast persons and will be very helpful for generating contents for ads and landing pages. Great job.
I like the concept of this product. This is so awesome and easy to use! MagicFlow is a great way to start building a brand new landing page for a site. This is the perfect opportunity to make life easier.
Congrats on the launch! Adding ad network integrations for A/B testing would be a big value proposition since it would remove the guess-work of deciding which generated ad wording is most effective with customers.
